Progress on the throne room!

The big boring staircase got replaced with a pair of fancy spiral stairs. I managed to make them usable by adding an invisible modular staircase underneath, so sims can (and will!) climb them, to my great delight!

Then for the outdoor area, I added cypresses, dragon statues, fountains and royal banners to give it that 'elevated' look. In my own humble opinion, you can never go wrong with cypresses! There are some benches and chess tables scattered around, so hopefully my sims will feel more inclined to linger in the area.

Finally, we've got some interiors going! The throne room is more or less done, and so is the hallway/grand entrance. I'm so proud of myself for remembering to add the skylight, it's such a look!

Ngl, I'm beginning to feel really good about this build.

my simself has a new apartment in San Sequoia, a new boyfriend (shout out to @mokah for the sim), and is 3/4th of the way to a university degree.

My sweet friend @fataleromeo tagged me and it looked like so much fun.

I jumped in CAS and created this cutie. I absolutely love her. Her name is Etta Darling. So I ended up using the darker version of the colors I used on her, but I do love this room.
