I am looking for play testers to try out some Sims 4 recolors!
Hi there! I'm looking for play testers to try out a few recolor objects in The Sims 4. I am a new CC creator and professional graphic designer and I want to do a little market research. I'm looking for a few people who would like to test and suggest revisions of current cc projects.
What does this entail?
I have questions! What kind of color palettes do you typically use? Do you use reshaders? Awesome! How did it affect the cc? Did the initial swatch phase of CC go with your tastes? No? How about phase two? And, a final phase three with the expanded project complete with your input!
You will get exclusive access prior to release of my cc during the play testing phases, AND early access to the full project before it releases for free to the pubic- as my thank you to you.

What is required from me as a play-tester?
I will be conducing three phases of play testing for a handful of recolored objects. I want you to put them in your game and tell me what you think! What doesn't work, what you think of the color palette, and what kind of colors you'd like to see. If you have shaders, how did the shaders effect the cc? Was it overwhelming, or did you still enjoy the colors?
What are the phases?
The phases will be three short periods of time where you will receive new package files, each drop updated from the last phase of feedback.
Phase One
First, a google form will be sent asking a few questions about your play style and design preferences for phase one. After recruitment, I will send links to the package files for you to use in game!
Phase Two
Phase two will begin after you have had time to play with the content in game. I will ask you to please fill out a google form with your feedback on the colors, interactions, and other things in game. After this feedback is received I will begin the packages for phase three.
Phase Three
The final phase will be the near finished package for the cc that you will be playtesting. This will have the most swatch options and maybe even object choices. You do not have to download new objects for playtesting in this phase, but you may want to as they will be included in the final set!
If this is this something you're interested in and you want to become a play tester send me an inbox message here on tumblr at threecuriouslemons.tumblr.com/ask. I'm happy to answer any and all questions!
A complete overview will be sent to all play-testers!
Please consider liking or reblogging this post so that this can reach others! Thank you!
Some in game WIP shots of a set of base game recolor options I am working on
Some of the colors need some tweaking still, but i'm gettin closer to what I was thinking when I started this project!
Hi! I'm Brooklyn, and i'm in the process of getting a new blog up and running after deleting my original years ago.
when I was on tumblr at 12-17 I was a self taught graphic designer and made fandom edits and character playlists and released resource packs, psds, and masterposts. Now i'm a professional graphic designer and am going to be running the same kind of variety blog again, and i'm really excited to create more fun fandom things with the skills i've learned after college and my career i am literally shAKING thinking of it. LIKE THIS!! Releasing new custom content for The Sims! I am brushing up on my blender cause its been a lil while since i took on a big mesh project, so starting with recolors while i get the rest of my stuff tg is where i'll be at
If you're interested in that sort of thing and wanna see what else i've got planned, consider checking out my lil slice of the internet void
Quick test in low light cause I felt they were pretty muted
I like the red but I have to adjust the levels a bit bc its too glossy
random pink for funsies, very bright in low light so gotta revisit that one, still have to add an orange in here, and playing around w the color of the metal, thinking of switching the purple on the green for a less purple color lol
Seems like its going to be a vibrant/muted recolor set since the other half of these swatches are completely JACKED UP in vibrancy
