Sophie: Eric. He wants me to get married, but not to you. 

Eric: What? To who? 

Sophie: He didn’t say. I’d much rather run away with you than be forced into marriage by him. 

Eric: What did your sister say? Or your Mom? 

Sophie: I haven’t talked to my sister yet today, she’s at an engagement in Oden all-day. And my mom is very adamant that we not bother her during her tours except if it’s an emergency. We’re on our own.

Eric: Won’t your father be suspicious? 

Sophie: I don’t care what my father thinks, you know that. Besides, Ana and Douxie are covering for us. 

Eric: What about your sister’s staff? Won’t they go and tell your father?  

Sophie: My father’s and my sister’s staff are both very loyal to her. They haven’t cared about my father for a long time. 

Eric: What do you think he’ll do when he finds out? 

Sophie: Well, he’ll have practically no choice but to accept it. If he even tries to do anything, the press will be up his ass before you can call to Moiragétes. 

Eric: That doesn’t mean that he won’t try something. Everyone has seen what happened to your brother-in-law. 

Sophie: If he even tries that shit again, with Douxie OR with you, my sister said that they’d call for his abdication. Like, for real. Worse comes to worse, we can get married and then if he insists on going through with the wedding, I can say that I’m already married to you. Call him out publicly. 

Eric: Oh, he’d hate that. 

Sophie: My siblings and I live to make my father’s life hell. 

Eric: I love you.

Sophie: If you need someone to help you study, I’m more than happy to help. Lit is my favorite subject.

Grace: Me. I see that you’ve met Eric. My boyfriend. 

Sophie: Your… your what? 

Grace: My boyfriend. Do you need me to spell it out for you?

Eric: Grace, what are you talking about? I’m not– 

Grace: Eric darling, why don’t you wait outside, hmm? That way you don’t get caught in the crossfire.

Not going to lie, this was REALLY hard for me to decide who to do, especially because I have so many couples running through my game. But ultimately, I decided to go with Sophie and Eric. I haven’t really shown a lot of them, but that’ll hopefully start to change next month (fingers crossed), but in the meantime, I’m absolutely obsessed with them.

Sophie: Dating? Listen, I know Grace. We grew up together, sort of. If I ever had something or was friends with someone, Grace wanted it to. 

Eric: So she’s… jealous. 

Sophie: Of me. I don’t want you to get tied up in it. 

Eric: I’m used to getting tied up into drama. 

Sophie: Oh trust me. My family’s drama is nothing like regular drama. You don’t want to be involved in it.
