SELMA- “Erin, your dad said you may come over today and take a look at the apartment. It is so good to see you! Congrats on your graduation and your degree. Kane said you are working for the paper, that is great.”
ERIN- “Thanks Miss Selma. I was lucky as there were three other candidates for the position. So, the apartment is furnished?”
SELMA- “It sure is, all ready to move in. Of course, you can decorate and change what you need to make it yours. Anything you don’t want, let me know and I can have Coop take it out for you. Let’s take a look, okay?”
ERIN- “Miss Selma! this is beautiful. I don’t think I would change a thing. It is perfect.
SELMA- “Good, I was hoping you would like it. Now sometimes it may get loud downstairs, you know how busy the pub can get sometimes.”
ERIN- “Not a problem I am a night owl anyway. So when can I move in?”
SELMA- “Honey, you can move in today if you want. When your Dad said you may be interested, I was so happy. You would be a perfect renter. The rent is due on the 15th, and all I need would be a 1/2 months deposit.”
ERIN- “Sounds like a deal! I will get my things and be in by the weekend. Is that okay?”
SELMA- “Absolutely! And again, if you do find that there is something here you don’t need just let me know and I will call Coope over to take it out for you, and welcome!!”
HM The King Delivers Speech From the Throne
With The King situated on the throne and with the Royal Family sitting in their places in the House of Lords, the King delivered his speech. The King sat on the throne with the Queen sitting on the Consort’s Throne. The Princess of the Isle sat the Isle Throne surrounded by the queen’s and her own ladies in waiting. The King said in his speech,
“ I am happy to be here on this occasion to open another session of parliament. This is the 22nd time I have opened Parliament and I am glad to do it every year. In this parliament session we look forward to improving our relations with other countries through state visits and other diplomatic activities. The entire Royal Family and I will be visiting Victoria in May to take on more official engagements. We will be having the Commonwealth Conference and Commonwealth Games held in Victoria this year. Meanwhile the Prime Minister and I will work hard to preside over the government for the rest of the year. I look forward to the new session of parliament as well as the new year.” - An Excerpt from King William II’s Speech From the Throne
Just Jogged My Thoughts
Hi again! It’s me, Blake! I decided to go over to this small quaint town called Glimmerbrook? At least I think that was its name. It doesn’t really matter because I wasn’t there for the town but its long paths you can run. So much freer feeling than in the city.
I may not know the name of this town but I feel strangely drawn to it. I come here running often. It’s so beautiful and quiet. Such a change from the city. Today was one of those days that I decided to take a new path. I had just found it the last time I was here but couldn’t run it cause I was out of time. But today, today I am going to run that path.
I decided to try my luck at fishing. See if I can make some cash on the side while enjoying the beautiful scenery behind the town library.
Colby grew up to a toddler! Vi and Caleb are proud of their tot.

“umm...” I smoothly replied.
“Oh, don’t worry about it! I know about the Realm too! After all, I am a Charm!” she said as though that should mean something to me. “We are an old magical family. They say one of the founders of the magical realm and saviors was a Charm!”
“Umm, should we be discussing this in public? I mean, isn’t this suppose to be a bit of a secret?” I replied and changed the subject. Well, partly. “ That guy over there with the green hair? I saw him in “that” place. Is he spying on me?”
“Most spellcasters are your average everyday persons. They work, go to school, have children, and so forth. The only thing that makes them a bit “different” is that they know and can use magic of some sort. Some only use magic to duel, some can only make potions (don’t count them out potions can be deadly or super helpful), and some just use magic here and there to solve everyday sort of problems. Like the toilet breaking.”
I’m not sure if she was referring to the day that Benjermen caused a fire on the toilet trying to fix it or not. I wasn’t old enough to remember it but I sure heard the story enough.
“So in other words,” she continued on “spellcasters are just like everyone else. Just magic separates them from “normal” people and my family is an old blood family whereas your family would be considered new blood.”
“New blood?” I wasn’t sure if I should feel insulted by the way she said it or maybe it was a compliment.
Our food arrived and with it, the topic changed. She was happy to talk about how the food tasted and how well it was done or lack thereof. I just picked at my food. I wasn’t very hungry before we came and I was even less so by this point. What was all this magic stuff and did they give scholarships?
Hi, It’s me, Blake, again. So, you’d think I’d have woken to a beautiful almost adult body of Gemma. Apparently, in the middle of the night, she left. No note and no way other than school or chancing upon her to contact her. Damn! So much for learning more about the magic realm that way. There had to be a way to learn magic.
Before I could continue this train of thought the bus arrived for school. “Crap! I’m late!” I exclaimed as I ran out the door.
After school brought the pressures of homework and skill-building. I absolutely wanted to get into the Distinguished degree for Physics at Foxbury. To do so meant I needed to raise as many skills as I could. I was doing well on Cooking thanks to the Outdoors badge for Scouting. I was also the highest a person could get in scouting. But many of my other skills lacked. They lacked to invisible. So I was trying my best to stay in the black with painting paying the bills. But when I wasn’t painting I was learning other skills such as how to fix things, making sure I was physically fit, and now I had the added pressures of learning about this magical realm stuff. Enough!
I picked up my cell phone and made a call. I called home. “Hey, this is Blake! I want to talk to mom.”
