3: What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?
Francesca’s relationship with her dad (like much of her past) has not yet been revealed so this is a bit of a spoiler for her backstory.
Her father and mother cared for her in different ways and her dad always took the softer approach so for the first years of her life, he was her favourite. He was a safe space for her because her mother was stricter. But in her teenage years, an incident changed her personality which in turn changed her relationship with her father.
4: Has your character every witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone know?
I wouldn't say she 'witnessed' something that changed her, but something did happen to her in her teenage years that fundamentally changed her personality and her approach to life (hinted above). As a spoiler: It was the death of a loved one.
7: Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
Francesca has two nightmares with two main themes that present themselves in different ways. The first is failure. She is afraid of failing as a monarch especially because of how ambitious she is. The second is loneliness, which is especially prominent at this point in her life.
11: In what situation was your character the most afraid they've ever been?
Francesca's fear has only ever peaked at two moments in her life. The first (mentioned twice above) is when her loved one dies and she falls into an existential crisis. The second is when she (and the country) found out the news about Liliana, Maria, Simon and Ferdinand and the scandal that broke out.
