Just as Elijah was getting into his guitar practice, the doorbell rang. This time it was his older brothers. Asher brought over some soup Cassandra made for them and they all had dinner together.
Elijah, being the youngest, sometimes felt out of the loop with family stuff. Belen, Adonis, Ryden, and Asher did their best to check on him whenever they could. Peyton was always off somewhere doing research, so texting was the best he was doing lately.
By the end of the night, the feels even caught up with Asher. Sitting in their parents old home and especially the kitchen, brought up memories of their family dinners.
[ADELINE]: Are you guys sure this is really necessary? Won’t we meet plenty of people in our classes?
[PEYTON]: Yeah sure, but this way we can meet people who AREN’T just in our classes
[MCKENNA]: Exactly! I doubt I’m gonna meet many hot guys in fashion design classes. At least, not the ones who would actually be interested in me…
[PEYTON]: Maybe you’ll meet someone for ME there though
[ADELINE]: I guess it’s not quite as crowded as I thought it would be.
I just don’t want to… attract too much attention
[PEYTON]: Addie, I don’t think the whole “princess” thing is gonna be as big of a deal as you think it is
[ADELINE]: Oh! I wasn’t, I mean I didn’t… I don’t think-
[LYLA]: Girl chill, Peyton’s right. I don’t think people are gonna give a shit that you’re a queen-to-be. It’s cool, don’t get me wrong, but people probably won’t even recognize you as much as you think they will
[PEYTON]: And if they do, we’ve got your back, remember?
[LYLA]: Yeah, we keep the crazy people away from you, you get your pick of hot guys who DO know who you are, and then you send the best rejects to me and Mckenna. Symbiotic relationship and all that shit
[MCKENNA]: Whilst I’m perfectly capable of getting guys on my own,
I’m not too proud to refuse a hot guy just because my friend didn’t want him
[ADELINE]: Is it bad that this is actually comforting me?
[MCKENNA]: Seriously though, they’re right. Everyone is too obsessed with themselves to care about you. Wait, that came out wrong again-
[LYLA]: We seriously need to work on your people skills Mckenna…
[ADELINE]: *laughing* No, I get what you mean. I get to be just another student while I’m here
[PEYTON]: You’re still studying?
[LYLA]: Are you sure you don’t wanna take a break and come with us?
[ADELINE]: Oh, yeah I’m sure. This biology test is gonna be rough enough as it is, I need to study as much as I can. You guys have fun though!
[LYLA]: All work no play makes Addie a dull girl
[MCKENNA]: It’s at one of the frat houses you know… Lots of cute guys and free booze…
[ADELINE]: I honestly don’t really think frat houses would be my thing anyway
[MCKENNA]: I get it, but we never really get to see you! You’re always either at class or studying!
[LYLA]: Will you at least come with us to Peyton’s game tomorrow?
[ADELINE]: Oh, tomorrow? Um… yeah okay
[PEYTON]: Correct answer. It’s against Foxbury so you better be there!
[LYLA]: We're gonna represent our girl! “Show up and show out” and all that
[MCKENNA]: I’m even going to wear green
[ADELINE]: Okay okay, I will definitely be there, but I really have to keep studying if I’m gonna take a break tomorrow. You guys go have fun!
[MCKENNA]: Just don’t forget to take a break every once in a while, okay?
[LYLA]: I’ll drink a little extra just for you!
[PEYTON]: Ugh, thank god you'll have my sober ass to babysit you then
[ADELINE]: *sighs* Okay, the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell…
Elijah went over to talk to one of his older brothers, Peyton. Their mom, Apple, was not doing well. She had been to the doctor and Apple assured Elijah that all was fine. He could tell she has been sad though. Since dad passed, Apple never has been the same. Elijah really wanted his siblings to come around more and at least visit her. Let her know that she is not forgotten. Of course, Peyton was the gentle and attentive ear that Elijah needed.
Ashlee had a fun night out with Peyton and his siblings.
New banner: Made one super simple banner for my main save since more of my sims are interacting. I will keep the tag as “kekoa save”; most have it, but some that should be in there are missing it. Maybe I will add them over time.
