I don’t want to say that I was dreading the moment that I would see my sister, but i knew it was inevitable. I haven’t spoken to her since the incident. She’s tried reaching out to me, but I always summed it up to being ‘extremely busy’ and then never calling her back. Until now, I didn’t care to listen to anything she had to say. Something about being here with Kendrick has me realizing that casting my sister out wouldn’t fix anything. I can’t and will never forget what she did to me, but I can forgive her. She is my sister after all. Besides, blood is thicker than water.
Christine: “Chels?”
I turn to see my sister round the corner in the kitchen. She hits me so hard we spin and I end up facing the opposite direction.
“Hi, Chrissy.”
Christine: “Oh, Chels. I’ve missed you so much.” “Chels. I’m so, so sorry. Please, forgive me” she whispers in my ear.
