Tipps for visiting Braunau🇦🇹 🏞🏞🏞 This photo was taken exactly at the spot on the bridge where the border between Austria🇦🇹 and Germany🇩🇪 ist located. The river Inn is the border-river at this place and can be crossed freely🚶🏻 🏞🏞🏞 During times of Corona we did not want to drive in to Austria🇦🇹, because we didn't know if they have any restrictions there concerning social distancing in cars, so we decided to park the car in Simbach, the neighbour city of Braunau in Germany🇩🇪 🏞🏞🏞 There is a free of charge underground car park right under the church (Kirchplatz) which I deeply recommend. From there it is a 10 minutes walk to the bridge. After crossing the bridge one just arrives at the city centre of Braunau and can go enjoy the beautiful city. Besides the infamous birthhouse of Hitler the town has great churches, parcs and museums to offer.
