✧:・゚* Simblr Question Time*:・゚✧
I got tagged by @changingplumbob and @dumbsoftiesims and @cakepoppresent! (I knew there was one more but got lost in the open tabs) Thank you for thinking of me!
Age you started playing the Sims: I was in my early mid-20s when The Sims was released! I started playing it based on both curiosity around the premise + my love of Sim City 2000 and Sim Tower.
The first ever family you played: The Newbies as they were literally the tutorial family. :D The Goths followed, and I uh... accidentally orphaned Cassandra due to fires.
Favorite expansion packs: I'm going to stick with The Sims 4 and choose Get Together because I love the world and the townies. I know that Realm of Magic is a GP, but I'm including it because I adore the townies and spell casters.
Thing you would like to be added to the game:
I'm going to cheat and copy this over from the last time I did this because it remains the same "More run down looking bb and CAS items. End/accent tables that are just stacked up pizza boxes. Stacked cans and empty bottles for clutter/decor. Coffee tables that are just a board on cinder blocks. Couches and chairs that look like they were picked up off the side of the road and are visibly worn with tape fixing the non-cloth ones. Well worn/worn out looking clothing (especially for kids to give that hand-me-down look). Scuffed up shoes, holey socks, etc. A revamp of aliens and mermaids to give them actual skill trees like the other occults. Plant sims being actual occults rather than a moodlet (also with skill trees). Ghosts being able to be invited to events, lots, dates. Teenage ghosts showing up at school. Letting my sims have multiple spouses (especially since the "omg I found a ring" event keeps popping up on my polycule'd sims leading to situations where two of them are married and then those to are also engaged to the others). Freaking bands. A few career revamps: split mixologist from the culinary career, split musician and comedian, split programmer from e-sports in the tech Guru career, allow related part-time jobs to give you a better starting point for their full time counterparts (such as barista to mixology, streamer to e-sports, and influencer to social media)."
Some extra ideas - I want to make my own werewolf packs, damnit. I want a DDR style machine for my dance machine gamers to play!
I want more toddler toys that build skill. I want more toddler and infant hair and clothing. I want playmats in base game even if BG players can't unlock infant milestones. They're still cute and handy.
I would like career day to have more careers (or at least switch them out from time to time) and actually have the day lead to something meaningful. Maybe the ability to start the job at a higher rate of pay or position due to a referral. Maybe scholarship for university from that workplace if you get a degree in that job's area. Hell, at this point even having career day function would be an improvement.
<EDIT> I THOUGHT OF MORE!!!! I want to be able to edit lots! Let me split up huge ones so I can have smaller lots for my smaller homes. Let me have tiny lots for tiny homes! Hell, hot take: Tiny Living should have had a world with smaller lots. We've got these micro homes that don't use up much space and more big lots than small! I want to use more tiny living style homes!
Top 5 Worlds: Windenburg, Oasis Springs (I like the dinosaur), San Myshuno, Ravenwood, San Sequoia and Brindleton Bay are tied for 5th.
Your 3 6 traits from Sims: Socially Awkward, Clumsy, Cringe, Romantic, Generous
What would’ve been your toddler trait? That was so long ago... Silly. Let's go with Silly.
EXPOSE YOURSELF 🫵 how many hours have you played Sims: 5216 hours
Last screenshot you took?
