I am really excited to share this as I discovered awesome creators while creating this masterlist, which isn't finished at all, because I know there are more sims creators out there who I haven't seen which can be added :)
Mermay may have passed but it is still summer so why not make an oceanic inspired thread, I present to you a detailed (I tried ok?) masterlist of mermaid/merman/siren CC you can add to your sim.
BIG REQUIREMENT: YOU MUST HAVE ISLAND LIVING EXPANSION PACK. A lot of these CCs require the expansion pack. Others are only accessories, tattoos, skin details, tops,...which work BG but it is best you have Island Living to have the Tails CC.
Another important thing about this post is that all of this content is FREE, but we can't forget to support creators! They gave their time and creative minds to give us this amazing content, so go support them on their Patreon, on their Ko-fi, other socials or just by linking and showing off their CC with credit so more simmers can enjoy it!
RECOMMENDATIONS
Some parts are not linked for mermaids like nails so I recommend starting adding all the skin details, accessories, makeup, nails, etc on your sim directly and in the swimwear slot. Why? That's because their mermaid form is linked with their swimwear.
You may not see some content when you try to make your mermaid, as I say before mermaid form and swimwear are linked. Get rid of that tag and more content would appear.
Remember to have both forms linked if you are editing first the sim directly, it won't transfer to the mermaid form if not! You can go into the mermaid form give the final touches and go back into the sim, UNLINK, and then get rid of the details you don't want on your sim.

This Mermaid CC Master post by @plumbobbles which inspired me to make this masterlist and you should take a look as it has more content! The gorgeous Mermaids by @nefarrilou which has their CC linked but I forget about as I get mesmerized by their beauty and @puppycheesecake which may have the biggest occult CC on their PC as I always get excited one of their sim appears on my front page.
I have also just seen this SimblrCollabProject and the theme for this month is Sea Creatures! I think it is perfect and I love projects like this, so go ahead and see what it is about!
I have future plans of adding more links to any CC I encounter and maybe other Occult Masterlist.

It took me forever to make these because I wasn't happy with them for so long but I finally think they look good 😭
Essentially it's four mermaids but I wanted them each to have a unique vibe and not just be humans with tails (even though I like that style of mermaid, to fully lean into the theme, I wanted to challenge myself). Also, they each have a necklace that they wear in all of their outfits that I imagine is how they control their different forms, which I thought was cool (I don't have a lot of personal mermaid lore except for that lol).
That was a lot but, in the end, I'm proud of the sims I put together and hope that you enjoy them! 🤩⭐
Some Notes: These sims are not cc free, but I tried to use minimal cc in their human outfits. Each have a career and a few relevant skills, as well as some ideas about personality and a bit of optional backstory. Feel free to tag me as well if you use them anywhere I'd love to see where they end up 🥰

A kind-hearted and determined leader, Aveline splits her time as a ruler between her human disguise and underwater identity. What does being a secret mermaid offer in terms of political advantages? I don't know I just liked the drama of a hidden mermaid 😅 I liked the ideas of pearls as her piercings so hopefully they look like pearls 😆
Nerissa Lieu
A bit of a "classic evil siren." She's flirtatious, and enjoys concocting spells, and causing mischief. On land, she enjoys playing video games, and using all the human technology she doesn't have access to underwater.
Captain Malik Rafferty
He's a mermaid but also a pirate... That's really it I just thought the duality was funny. Also his mermaid form is so cool. The captain of a ship who steals gold and other valuables above and below water.
If your favorite theme hasn't been picked, they can be resubmitted for next month, so don't worry.

Cove spends all their time on their beloved beach, climbing rocks, looking in rockpools, and searching among the seaweed for new finds to add to their collection. It makes them sad how much trash they find in the process, but at least they can make fun accessories from it.

If you are interested in participating in the Simblr Monthly Collab Project, but aren’t sure what the rules are, you are in the right place !
The concept is fairly simple : Every month, we, the Simblr community, will vote on a theme for the next month. When that month comes, everyone is invited to make and share a little something to give back to the community following the current theme!
Now, when imagining this at first, I was thinking of CC, but actually there is so much more that the Simblr community can use ! Sim dumps, reshade/gshade presets, even editing tutorials, if it’s useful to Simblr, it fits in! Just make sure to post your content under the global tag #SimblrCollabProject and the monthly tag which will have the format SimblrCollabMonthYear (for example August 2025’s monthly tag will be SimblrCollabAugust2025). That way it will be easier for us to find it and reblog it !
Of course, there are a few rules to follow :
No early access and no paywalls. This is about giving back to the community. If you don’t want to do that, this event is not for you.
People with only a Tumblr account need to be able to access your content. For example, if you are posting a sim dump and your download platform requires downloaders to get an account, you are breaking the rules. Even if the account is free. That means no ModCo, and no « followers only » content on patreon.
No SimsFinds, and no Linkvertise. Do I really need to explain that one ?

No hate and no bigotry, obviously. I wish I didn’t have to include this in the rules but we live in a crazy world.
No judgement of other, less experienced creators will be tolerated. Simblr is a safe place for a lot of us and I want this event to reflect that.
We will only reblog SFW content. If you make NSFW content for the project and use the project’s tags, we ask that you use the mature content flags appropriately.

I said I was just going to make a few sims with no plot ideas at all but I mean if you spend so many hours making the sims... You can't help but come up with stories for them 😆
Meet the members of Ocean Watch! Every year, thousands of tourists flood the beautiful beaches of Sulani and it's their job to keep them safe while not loosing their own sanity in the process.
Oro is the stern most senior lifeguard on the team, holding out hope for a promotion that he just can't seem to get. A cook in his spare time, he's an expert in Sulani cuisine, and is always the one to bring the best kalua pork to any event on the island.
Alamea, the second most senior lifeguard, is a fierce protector of the ocean and ensures that people treat it with the respect it deserves. She enjoys living alone in her house near the volcano, where she can craft in peace from the tourist-heavy beaches.
Ronan came to Sulani for the surf but stayed for culture and community. Now he's a devoted member of Ocean Watch following in his superior's footsteps.
Sam is doing a summer research program on marine biology and could use the extra cash as a college student. In her free time, she likes to hike and swim around the beautiful islands of Sulani, enjoying what time she has there.
And Brandon comes from a wealthy family who spends their summers at their home in the most tourist-dense area of the island. However, this summer, he's been tasked with getting a job, and being a lifeguarded sounded simple enough, he is a mermaid after all (he was very wrong). His dog Sprig is his best friend who loves digging holes at the beach and swiping the lunches of unsuspecting loungers.
Each sim is cc free and though I put way too much thought into their personalities feel free to use them however you'd like (just please don't change their skin tones) 🥰
