untitled #1
300 words, simi, fluff
The cool breeze never bothered Sebastian much. Not in the early morning spring walks with his childhood dog to catch the sunset over hills of greenery. Not biking around campus in college winters, jacket tight againts his torso as his legs got him places his frozen hands on the handlebar struggled to guide. Especially not in late autumn nights, hand nestled deep in his lover's jacket and heart warmed by the presence by him.
The night had started to creep up an inch earlier day by day. Nature always seemed to still at such moments, waiting patiently for cues to adapt, to learn and put life on hold for a few months. Something in Sebastian's body thrummed at the frequency of the weather, an internal clock designed to hold him to such timing. As nature took its toll, as it took its time, so did Sebastian's heart, so did his habits, so did his love.
But Sebastian didn't need to accelerate his life. Sebastian didn't need to accelerate his love.
With Kimi's eyes to overlook him, Sebastian could do just about anything. And if such thing was to sit back and let the tapestry where their souls entwined work its course, then so be it. With Kimi's eyes to overlook them, Sebastian could just about agree to anything. Anything felt possible. Everything was possible. And if the course the universe decided to take was to wound him in Kimi's arms, shielded from the cool of the breeze, then all Sebastian could do was kneel before such grace and accept its gift.
Kimi had always been the sacrificial altar to his devotion anyway. Born from rocks and carved with utmost care to honour the only thing in this world holier than them, the only thing holier than life; a union of passions, a congregation of hearts, an amalgam of hope.
A harmony of love.
The wind sung its apraisal through the late evening, tapping a rythm of adoration against Sebastian's eardrum. A song of faith to Kimi and Kimi only turning to a quiet shiver down a well covered spine.
But it wasn't much. The cool breeze never bothered Sebastian much.
