12. The emotional hug.

He held unto his friend, arms wraps tightly around the smaller male, clutching unto him, as if he was afraid that if he let go, Sun would disappear.
Water continued to fall, each droplet being soaked into their clothes. It was at this moment that it felt like the world understood what tremendous amount of pain he was in.
God of the seas, this is who he was named after. His first thought was maybe even if he was afraid of the water, it understood how he felt sometimes and it came to comfort him. Though it did block out the sun he loved so much.
The rain continued to fall, plunging harder unto the ground each second that past. It began to engulf them, nothing but the sound of water hitting the ground could be heard, covering the sound of the blue-haired male’s whimpering figure that latched tightly unto the his friend, holding unto him like this was his final moment.
He didn’t remember why he broke down, he didn’t want to remember. He hated himself for doing this, he hated that he couldn’t just laugh this off. He couldn’t be his usual cool self. But… he knew Sun would understand. He was the only one that could bring him comfort right now.

What was this… their re-match? No, their re-re-match…? No, not even that. So often had they fought that Roman grew weary of Sun’s onslaught of attempts to throw him off-guard.
As for this, it was another night, another heist-Roman had the upper-hand on terrain; the city was ultimately something he’d made his own in a skirmish-albeit, not literally. Unfortunately, however, the night was his enemy, as he’d previously discovered.
There was but a simple eye-roll; Torchwick appeared agitated, tapping his cane against stone pavement almost rhythmically.
“Y’know, Monkey Boy? Our time together has been so much fun, I can assure you, but I grow tired of your antics–” He remains diligent, seeing if he’s able to spot any twitches, any tells of signs of movement.
“–And your antics? They’ve grown old. You’re no different from me! So do me a favour, stop telling yourself that you’re any better than me!”
