Sun and Pit -- Icarus vs the Monkey King (or the Sun. Take Irony As You Will.)

 ♐→→→→→→     Yes, Pit knew of the story of Icarus, but he really, really didn't care. He and Icarus were two completely different beings. Pit was a disabled angel. Icarus was a drowned human.

 Two completely different beings.

 Though, now exploring human culture, he had come across the legend twice; once in a book and once on a map. Still, he disregarded these coincidences and continued to explore the humans and their world.

 And then it happened. Police sirens (he learned, after chasing their cars around to see where they were going and what they did) wailed as officers yelled after a young man with a banana in one hand. Pit looked up and blinked, curious as to why the officers were after the man with the banana...and the monkey tail.

   "Whoa, wait, what!?"

 The young man leaped over a fence and disappeared while the officers argued about how to get over. With a grin and a streak of mischievousness, he quietly prayed to Palutena for the gift of flight for just a few moments to join the monkey man on the other side of the fence. Quietly, she granted him and he took to the sky briefly.

 ♐→→→→→→     He traced the young man for a few moments until the blond stopped to rest for the moment and dig into the banana in his hand. Pit grinned and landed beside him. "Hey, you got a monkey's tail." Of course, he didn't intend to startle the other but curiosity had taken over and he, for the moment, forgot his manners.
