Ask game: #37
37. Have any tattoos?
I don't cuz I've always been a broke bitch, but I'm dying to get one.
I’ve never played the game, but any time I see your “wompty dompty dom center” tag, the phrase reverberates in my brain for hours
Yea! Me too!
(for the record, Wompty dompty dom center is a thought (think: perk like fallout) that makes it so when you pass encyclopedia checks you get bonus experience and money. Get rewards for trivia night c: )
Yes hello, this question is for Jin. How dare you?
Something bothering you, fleshling?
What do you think of Microsoft buying Bethesda? New Vegas 2 chatter is in full swing; I don’t know if I’d be more into that or a totally new Fallout setting (ex. different continent)
i dont think ive ever seen a time when people werent chattering about fallout 2 vegas, but it certainly is louder than usual. i dont think its likely to happen (bethesda has yet to make any significant reference to/acknowledgement of the west coast, so i think that shows how little theyre interested), but if it does its not likely to be handed over fully or even mostly to obsidian, and if it is then obsidian isnt the same company with the same devs as it was a decade ago, and if they were to bring back all the devs and only those devs and make a new game that takes place in the same mojave desert,,,,, idk if i even want it
i always thought it was weird that it went 1, 2, 3, new vegas, 4; but i think i get it now. new vegas (while being very respectful of the lore and themes that made the others so great) is its own thing that exists in its own space. i think thats neat. whenever a new fallout thing comes out and shits the bed, i remind myself that nothing can take away the time ive spent in new vegas. but it certainly can be soured. you would have to give a canon ending to a game that is famous for how open it is and how many impactful decisions you can make. theres a reason why the game wont let you continue playing after you beat it, and thats because the world is too changed by your actions for them to make a post-ending for each ending possible. also, the game would never live up to the decade-long hype. if it took place in new vegas, it would live forever in its shadow
if obsidian were to ever make a new fallout game, i really really hope it takes place somewhere fresh, because fresh is how we got new vegas
If you had to eat mozzarella sticks, would you rinse them first?
I usually don’t/
Something had been bothering me about Nicol Bolas's face, and I finally figured it out. Instead of the big draconian snout he had in Legends, he's got this tiny, almost humanoid one! Maro... has he had, you know, _work_ done?
*hands you a glass of mechanical virus* Keep those planeswalker fursona calls coming!
thank you for the donation of sippies :3
I said Ashiok was a giant squid before and to elaborate--it's because of the weight of the mythology and lore around it, and the kraken horror stories. I'm not sure if giant squids shoot ink, but that would look a lot like Ashiok's whole smoke deal as well.
