Eternal Love of Dream - Episode 56 Final Episode

Are we ready for the end? No. We are not.

So Donghua used Xingguangjie to seal Miao Luo and she’s not really happy about it. No kidding. So oh well. Let’s die together she says. Chiwu regains consciousness. He believes in Donghua. Naive.

Fengjiu tells Chonglin that she wants to see Donghua one more time, but it’s most likely too late now. Oh wow, she really wants to go die with him. Since we don’t have a fate together, we must at least have enough to die together. What about Gungun? Chengyu asks Lian Song where’s Donghua. Seems like Lian Song can’t hide anything from Chengyu, so he tells her he’sm ost likely to be at the Fanyin valleay. If she’s fast enough she can see him once again. Once they get there, it’s only to notice  thant only Donghua can break down the barried for the Xingguangjie. Chiwu is like what’s wrong with you guys’ face? Once he’s done fighting, Donghua is just going to come out, no biggy. So he finally knows... Poor Chiwu... Then Fengjiu calls out Donghua’s name. He hears her. Not good, he needs to stay focused. Of course Miao Luo uses that moment and strikes. Fengjiu force her way inside the barrier thanks to the ring and Qingti... wth? Qingti takes out of a nowhere a rope and pulls her back, he doesn’t want her to die for nothing. She says she only wants to have a closer look. No. She completely forgot about her kid and is being suicidal. Qingti don’t let her go! This is so stressful.

Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen are in the peach blossom forest when petals starts falling down and Bai Zhen wonders if someone’s dying. Zheyan closes his eyes and opens them. Oh crap, this is bad. And he takes Bai Zhen with him to I don’t know where yet. Well, probably Fanyin Valley. Just right when Fengjiu escapes from Qingti. You did your best Qingti. I liked the human version of yourself better though. Fengjiu jumps inside the valley. She starts fighting Miao Luo to protect Donghua. But as she gets hurt by Miao Luo, she also not doing to thanks to the blood of the red nine tail fox. It dispersed her cultivation. Fengjiu while Donghua fights with Miao Luo put some of her blood on her sword before strikin. But she’s not strong enough to beat her, but she did a lot of damage anyways. Donghua says to go and hide, he will take her back home, but she’s like you’re lying to me again. She says don’t always push me away and covers Donghua’s sword with her blood. They both stab Miao Luo but it’s not enough to kill her. Oh. It works. She dies.

Outside they are all worried and Chiwu is like there’s so many of you, don’t tell me you don’t have a way and then Zhe Yan is like well there is a way. Don’t tell me he’s going to drop a bomb and take in Gungun. Leave that baby alone. Okay no, he says they can use all of their forces together, it’s just that it might make everything blow up. It’s a risk.

Donghua wonders how to send engjiu out. She says if it’s because she hurt him he also hurt her so they are quit. She wants to be with him, he also wants her to be with him. He says it’s true, he also wants to take her everywhere with him, he hoped she would come. He never wants to be away from her, but it’s not okay, she still has many years in front of her. She then says even if he doesn’t want to take her, she’s afraid she’s going to go first. Wow. She doesn’t even remember that she has a son to provide for. She says it hurts and asks him to comfort her, say that he loves her. This is crazy. Am I the only one thinking about the poor kid? She asks him to promise that when he dies he holds her hand. He promises. Is she dead? Oh, they are both dead. But Gungun then?

The others are still working on that barrier. Everyone has a hard time but Zhe Yan and like Lian Song. You see who are the bad ass ones in there.

Oh she’s not dead. Not yet. But he is. Well, he doesn’t open his eyes. Oh wait, he opens his eyes. She tells him not to clos eyes, to listen to her. He says to forget about him. Lol. She would never be able to do that. Well he’s dead now I guess? And her? Well at least she’s unconscious. Their blood then meets and the barrier breaks from inside. And we are back to Qingqiu with our gorgeous queen of the Biyi Bird tribe Jie Lv.

Ji Heng is making statues. Chiwu comes to get her. She hugs him. What? Now she loves Chiwu? Well, I am happy for hi, even though I wish he would have dated Jie Lü. I thought he would never get his happy ending with Ji Heng. Well what she says makes sense. It’s a little out of the blue, but oh well. Was she sculpting figurines of Chiwu earlier? What do you guys think? Chiwu is so cute, he’s so happy.

Lian Song is now playing chess with Qingti and he says Qingti looks more and more like Donghua. Well at least Qingti is smiling a little more. Then Chiwu comes. And Zhe Yan, Siming, Chengyu. And Finally Xia Guchou brins in Gungun. Everybody’s like who’s that kid and Guchou is like it’s obvious just by looking at him. Lian Song guesses that hacing white hair like that it must be Donghua’s son? Chiwu and Chengyu’s faces are priceless. Zhe Yan is like hehehe I knew. Gungun asks asks what’s Donghua. Is it a place? No more like your dad. Then he asks where is his mom? So he sends him in to see Fengjiu who’s sleeping because of her injuries and.... omg. Donghua? Is it true? Is he really feeding medicine to Fengjiu? How is he even alive? Gungun runs to his mom calling her and Donghua is like no you can come closer, who are you? And he drops the medicine when Gungun says he’s Fengjiu’s son. Gungun is like, why is it surprising that I am mother’s son? Uncle you are so handsome, who are you? Then Dongha is like... I am your father Gungun. And Fengjiu’s hand starts moving.

Omg. Donghua and Gungun laughing is so fake, it’s scary, looks like an horror movie. Maybe they didn’t have a good father and son chemistry. But it’s a nice ending, with all the family together.

And there it is. It’s the end. I wasn’t super thrilled about this drama and I definitely don’t feel empty now that it has ended, but I can’t say I didn’t look forward the ending. None of my ships got to have their fate, however I am still mostly happy about the ending. Except for all of my bias dying. I think it shows a beautiful moral about love and hardships as even though Fengjiu and Donghua weren’t fated to be together, they still fought for their love and in the end it worked out. I hope they learnt to talk to each other more so they won’t have anymore misunderstanding. And that Gungun will have a little sister to play with. I am going to miss the beautiful OST of this drama for sure. And human Qingti. And Xu Yang. And Jie Lü. Welll all of those that weren’t really important for the story.

Eternal Love of Dream - Episode 32

Okay wow. So Lian Song takes Ahli to the fanyin valley to attend Fengjiu’s party to thank Donghua for putting in a word so she can participate in the competition. Wasn’t it super hard to get in there because it closes down and you can’t get out? I don’t get it. Anyways, probably that little Ahli missed his Fengjiu jiejie a lot <3 Riceball is the cutest of all.  Fengjiu is wondering if she’s not dreaming and tries pinching herself. Since it doesn’t hurt, she pinches harder just to make sure and doesn’t even realize she’s actually pinching Donghua. Then Ji Heng gives some soup she made for him, fearing he’s not used to the food Fengjiu is serving. Wow. She really has no shame. Who would attend somebody’s feast and just bring food for one of the guest like this? So rude! I would get so angry for somebody doing this at my place, unless it’s a pot luck... I’m shooked. At least, Donghua doesn’t even drink that soup. Basically, she’s just trying to prove that she’s better than Fengjiu. So mean. Fengjiu is definitely upset and decides to go have a look in the kitchen. Since he’s sad that Ji Heng made soup for Donghua and not him, Yan Chiwu wants to tag along. Ahli also wants to go, but she gives him cakes so he stays seated quietly. She wanted to convince Chiwu to stay too, but realizes she doesn’t have any cakes he likes and thus decides to take him with her. Then Lian Song says he wants to taste her cakes and purposely have them under Donghua’s nose. Seems like he’s a little jealous and he completely ignores Ji Heng’s offer to get him more soup. Lian Song is so doing it on purpose. Donghua sends away the soup to Chiwu and Chiwu is so happy tasting the soup, saying it’s so yummy, but before he can eat some more, she just snatches it away, obviously really upset that Donghua didn’t eat. Don’t bring food to other people’s banquet, that’s rude girl. I hope you learnt your lesson. Poor Chiwu though. Fengjiu feels like the feast is a failure. When Lian Song comes back to the Nine Heavons, Siming is amazed by his thirst for gossip. Using so much energy just to have lunch.

At night, some red smoke (probably Miao Luo’s doing) tries to do something to Fengjiu, but her birth mark on her forehead glows and it seems to protect her. Donghua seems to feel there’s something weird going on, but can’t find any traces of Miao Luo. She actually gets to Ji Heng’s room. So classic... She’s definitely going to use Ji Heng’s jealousy. She’s so fast to trust that person. Are you stupid? You don’t know who she is, she comes into your room in the middle of the night, can you see a bigger red flag than that? I mean it’s obviously NOT a good idea. Miao Luo wants to get the pinpo fruit and kinds of control Ji Heng.

Chiwu decides to participate in the competition too so he can get the pinpo fruit and give it to Ji Heng so it could heal her water poison. He feels bad for Fengjiu, but promises her that if he wins, he’s going to give her half of the fruit. Then Fengjiu in return also promises to give him half of it if she wins, that way he can save the girl he likes. Such a beautiful friendship. They are so sweet towards each other. I enjoy so much the friendship between the two of them. Chiwu even offers to participate in her stead, but Donghua is like there’s no need, I am going to train her personally for the competition.

Chiwu is really happy that Ji Heng asked something of him. He bumps into Jie Lv and brags about it, but she says she probably just wants the fruit because Fengjiu wants it too and since Donghua doesn’t pay her any attention, thus asked Chiwu. When she realizes that she hurt his feelings, she starts to feel bad and tries to take it back. Chiwu is easily convinced. That’s kind of a good trait from this character, he only listens to what he wants to hear, but... not in an annoying way if you see what I mean? I pity a little Jie Lv though. Am I the only to feel that maybe she has a little crush on Chiwu? Or am I seeing too much into this? (What can I say? I love shipping people together)

So under the pretext of training her, Donghua sets up a barrier so she can’t come out and only focus on her training. I mean Fengjiu. I guess it’s also to protect her from Miao Luo, but he’s not putting his efforts at the right place as we all know Miao Luo went to Ji Heng instead. Anyways. Next morning, he seals her spiritual energy and makes her practice balance on ice rocks. She falls pretty quickly and he catches her and she accuses him of doing it on purpose so he can toy with her. Then he lets her drop on the ground. He has high expectations about her, so she finally starts practicing. And falling fown. But by the end of the day it seems she’s getting really good at it. The next day, he makes her practice again, but this time blindfolded.

Lian Song sees a sad Chengyu feeding the fishes. She’s missing Fengjiu and worries about her. To reassure her, he uses a spell to show her Fengjiu who just happens to fall down and Donghua runs to catch her. Of course, she falls and ends up kissing him. OF COURSEEEEEE. His lip is bleeding. She tries to run away, but he calls her back and she goes back to training. Chengyu is relieved, but she still worries since they are not blessed by fate, but Lian Song comforts her somehow.

Ji Heng cares about Chiwu while he’s exercising his sword fighting. Poor baby. She so manipulates him...

Xiangli Meng is getting drunk. He’s really sad about the cricket in his furry box.  Looks like it died. All the maids pretend to cry and tells Jie Lv not to meddle. But she goes to fet Chiwu to help and he goes to get Fengjiu and breaks the barrier in doing so. When he tries to wake her up, she thinks he’s Donghua and tells him she’s too tired and to stop bothering her. Of course, Chiwu thinks that they did naughty things together hahaha. I just can’t. Chiwu’s thinking is just the best. So glad we get to see this character’s evolution. How can he be so pure and naive, but yet think directly of that hahaha!

So basically, Xiangli Meng is sad about the cricket’s death because it was a gift from the girl he likes (Fengjiu then). Then Fengjiu says she should convince him no to keep on liking he since she’s getting married anyways and then Jie Lv is like Whaaaaat? Fengjiu thought Xiangli Meng likes Bai Qian, but he actually likes her. Then Fengjiu finally remembers how she saved him once in the past and takes Chiwu apart as they are both so shooked. She tells Chiwu to absolutely not tell her identity. When they go back to Xiangli Meng, he decided to go against his clan and chase after his love. Fengjiu and Chiwu convinces him not to go however. They look at each other and seem very tired.

Eternal Love - Episode 3

Okay so my thought here is that Li Jing must be the most clean guy of this whole drama. He’s always taking a bath. Like always. Well, with women so he’s probably not just purifying his body from all that filth, it’s still a bath. He must smell real good always floating in rose petal water. Anyone else ever think about the character of a drama smell? Sorry if that’s weird. Anyways, so he’s in his favorite place in the world - is it clear enough that it’s a bathtub? - when he calls for Si Yin, who has been passed out for the last ten days after drinking too much. Yuling tried to commit suicide a few times and now he’s refusing to eat. Si Yin wants to go and see him, but Li Jing says that it’s impossible now because the adoption ceremony is going to be soon, so no visitor allowed. Well he himself could see him, but before he can say anything anymore, his big brother comes in and scolds him for trying to seduce Si Yin: he took that suggestive gesture on purpose. He makes his brother angry which results on Li Yuan to leave. Then he asks Si Yin if she’s not a woman, that he already sees through the spell hiding her identity. But he’s bluffing and she ends up believing him and thus revealing that she really is a girl when he actually had no idea, well just suspicions.He says he’s going to help her escape because he feels they get along very well and considers her as a friend. She’s a bit reluctant at first, but then agrees to be his friend. He makes him write a letter  to Yuling, he will personally give it to him. The he suggests that when they escape he takes along Yanzhi but she’s like hmmm no thanks I am also a girl, but you can’t tell her!

Mo Yuan finds Si Yin’s whereabout through a dream in which he tells him they are in the Ziming palace.

Late at night, a drunk Li Jing comes to find Si yin. He says he has a secret to tell him and it’s that he likes him. Si Yin is too shocked to say anything so Li Jing jumps on him, trying to open his clothes, but Si Yin tries to push him away: I never silently agreed! Then Li Jing passes out on her bed. Si Yin’s so funny. She rolls him in the blankets like a sushi and uses him as a pillow for her feet hahaha!

Thank god, they fave up on the man bun for Donghua. It really didn’t suit him.

The second eldest disciple is extremely mad when he learns that Yuling and Si Yin were abducted by Qing Cang. But right then Mo Yuan comes out and he’s going to bring them back: you don’t mess with the war lord.

When they wake up, Si Yin tells Li Jing what happened the previous night and Li Jing runs away really ashamed of his actions. Then Si Yin bumps into Yanzhi who’s about to confess her feelings. Right when she leaves, Mo Yuan arrives, like the saviour he is. Mo Yuan is just so bad ass, Li Yuan can’t do anything to stop him from getting back his disciples. Then they end up bumping into Qing Cang himself and Mo Yuan provokes him in a duel. But Mo Yuan is just too strong, even though Qing Cang is also super strong. Li Jing even comes to help them to flee away. Then there’s lightning and Mo Yuan is like oh crap, it’s Si Yin’s trial. He locks her in a grotto and takes all the strikes for her. Si Yin begs to come and receive it himself since it’s her trial, but Mo Yuan takes it all for her and thus Bai Qian becomes a high immortal. And for some reason, the golden lotus flower glows.

When Si Yin wakes up, she runs to see Mo yuan, but he’s on confinement. Die Feng scolds Si Yin for not studying hard enough to get ready for her ascension. She goes to see him and promises to cook for him when he gets out. Mo Yuan smiles happily. A guy looking like Mo Yuan appears behind Si yin. The flower became almost human.

Yanzhi frees up her big brother Li Jing who was punished for helping Si Yin and the others. She only asks of him to greet Si Yin if he meets him. Li Jing decides to go to Kunlunxu, not the mortal realm.

Si Yi is now studying extremely hard. Bai Zhen comes to pay a visit to Si Yin. A boy so beautiful ** He only came to pay a short visit. He came while Zhe Yan went to the Yi clan to convince them against the war. Bai Zhen is worried Si Yin would have to participate in the war, but Bai Qian will do it if her master goes to war. But however the war won’t be stopped and has to happen according to Zheyan. And manbun Donghua is back! Arrrrrgh! Stop this! Donghua suggests that they replace Qing Cang with a lord that is willing to cooperate and that they could manipulate. Seems like he’s already having someone on his mind. Siming answers saying that Li Jing is a womanizer, so he would be easy to control.

Bai Zhen leaves Kunlunxu and tells Si Yin to study well and come back to Qingqiu to find a good spouse so their mom would stop nagging him and trying to get him married. He says nobody will stop her from going to war if she wants to, but not to impose to much on herself. She still has four big brothers.

Li Jing goes to Kunlunxu and climbs up the mountain even though it’s really dangerous since there are protections. He gets attacked and bumps into Zi Lan. He says he came to see Si Yin, but then doesn’t reveal he’s from the Yi clan. When he meets with Si Yin, he says he came to fulfill his love for him, to never be separated from her. He’s willing to give up everything for her. He only has thought of her ever since she left and doesn’t want to ever have anyone else but her. How cute <3 and Si Yin not knowing where to stand, she’s so embarrassed haha!

Eternal Love of Dream - Episode 29

Siming goes to see Donghua about the demon queen only to learn that he’s not there and probably won’t come back for a while. Lian Song says it has to do with the both of them and Siming runs after him to get explanations.

When the new teacher comes, there are all surprised to see Donghua. Yan Chiwu tries to pick a fight with him, because yep. That’s just what their relationship is all about. Xiangli Meng tries to keep Donghua away from the trap and suggests that they study outside. The usual teacher at firsts disagree, but then Donghua says it’s not a bad idea to go outside. He probably guessed that there was a trap. Then Donghua asks Chiwu if he shouldn’t thank him and Chiwu is being himself, angers the teacher who wants to punish him and then... well the teacher falls in the hole haha.

Except that’s extremely bad news for Fengjiu. The teacher is really angry at her and wants to punish her very heavily. But then Donghua comes to save her hahaha. She’s pretty angry at him for coming to get her so late when it’s all his fault. He’s like what’s the difference between coming now and 6 months ago and she shows him how angry she is. She suggests that they have a fight, even though he’s probably going to win over her, she admits it. So he’s like, okay, so you are angry because I kept you along everywhere I went, what if I become a handkerchief too and follow you everywhere, will you be less angry? Then he changes into a purple handkerchief.

Okay, I am taking back what I said about Fengjiu being more mature. She buries him in the snow because he said he hates the cold, then let him dip in cold water, crushes an orange on him and throws him in the cold water again. Then she realizes that on the handkerchief, there’s embroidery with Ji Heng’s name on it. And she feels sad because she thinks he likes Ji Heng.

Poor Yan Chiwu. He goes and pays a visit to Ji Heng, but she kicks him out. She will pay back her debt to him someday, but she owes more to Donghua than to him. He’s a really nice guy, a little too naive maybe but still. I wish he wouldn’t try so much to please Ji Heng when she clearly doesn’t care at all about him.

On his way back, Chiwu saw Donghua using a very difficult spell to bring two different places together and he feels like he’s really inferior to Donghua. Then Xiaojiu tells him that he has qualities in which Donghua can’t surpass him. But when she tries to name them, she can’t seem to really find them. Then she realizes that if Chiwu saw Donghua playing chess with Lian Song, then he must not be the handkerchief so she’s super angry. When she gets near him though, her tails come out and Donghua remembers he saved her once. So he says him tricking her is to repay her debt. Well, she already did that. Anyways, she’s angry and blows her nose in the handkerchief. And there I thought she wasn’t as childish.

The names for the participants of the competition came out, but Fengjiu’s name isn’t on the list. The teacher didn’t put her in case she would get injured and then Donghua would be unhappy. Chiwu asks her about it and tells her that Ji Heng is there, so she’s even more depressed because she knows they kept contact.

Since she’s not able to participate, then she wants to steal the fruit. But when she tries, the snakes protecting the fruit scares her and she decides not to steal it then. And fortunately Donghua was there to prevent her from going near the tree.
