» even though her birth mother is anya leigh, she has lived her whole life with lizzie. back when anya and liz were still in good terms & living together and liz and alex were still dating, alex and anya were having an affair behind her back. it went on for quite some time, it was mainly just hook ups since anya’s wild life was already filled with all sorts of boys. everything went smoothly, until anya got pregnant. she panicked and told lizzie straight away. obviously lizzie still didn’t know that the child was actually her boyfriend’s, so she supported anya through the pregnancy. anya gave birth to a healthy girl who was named jude. even after jude was born, anya didn’t want to give up her lifestyle of partying and late nights out. most of the time lizzie had to take care of baby jude while still working and managing her personal life. alex’s and anya’s affair was still going on, though alex didn’t have much interest in taking care of jude. after another late night out anya came home to liz sitting and waiting for her. she finally confronted her about the lack of care for jude and the irresponsible lifestyle. anya got pretty mad and in the middle of the fight blurted out everything she was keeping a secret from her. liz immediately told her to get out of the house. days went by until lizzie got out of the shock and invited anya over to talk it through. after a long talk they decided it was for the best for jude to stay with liz for a while - she had even started calling liz ’mom’. after a while this temporary change took a turn and lizzie legally adopted jude.
