At long last, Koukai's worries of potential brain damage can go flying out the window!

...Unless that's just parroting, but Koukai's gonna be a little more optimistic for now. A little.

"You don't seem to be having any trouble carrying that… so I suppose that means you're getting your strength back?"

"…I do wish you'd at least say something… Forgive me if I'm making any assumptions, I'm… simply worried."

"…We'll just check your wound when we get home."

Koukai went out to run a couple errands, and the stranger decided to follow! Eyes trained on their pink-clad caretaker the entire time, and Koukai isn't sure if that's curiosity at work or just plain creepy.

He seems to have some level of kindness, though, if him holding things for Koukai is any indication. owo)b

"I- Wha- You're up already-?! What are you doing, you need to rest!"

"....."

"Don't just float there, young one... let's get you back to bed."

The stranger's up and around! ...Kinda! Still not saying anything but him getting up to follow Koukai around is a good sign, right?

...Maybe give the old Simirror a warning next time, floaty. Almost gave him a heart attack!

"I'm... truly sorry, young one. I hope you can forgive me, but for now I'll have to heal this as is. It'll undoubtedly make the stone harder to remove in the end, but... well, we'll have to make sure you live that long first."

"...Times like this make me wish I'd stuck with healing instead of mirrors..."

After bringing the strange fellow home, Koukai immediately got to work assessing the other's injuries. To his surprise, the stranger was unharmed, aside from the meteorite that was apparently stuck in his head. Attempting to remove it provided no results, apart from the purple fellow crying out in pain and effectively scaring Koukai from trying a second time.

With no doctors for miles and panic quickly settling in the old Simirror's heart and mind, all Koukai could resort to was healing the wound. The entire time, the stranger said nothing, most likely still dazed from the impact.

Hopefully, after some rest, he'll actually say something and alleviate Koukai's worries of potential brain damage...
