Happy 1st Birthday To My Gingersnap 🧡

Hazelynn Amelia Castillo, a year ago you came into this world and you were the best possible thing that could have happened to me. You are sweet, sassy, and such an independent little princess. Your laugh brings a smile to my face even on the darkest of days. I’d be lost without you. You’re so so big and I love you more than you will ever know.

Now that I’m all teary eyed, I want to thank everyone who came out to Hazel’s petting zoo party! Hazel’s two best friends Atlas and Aster came. You can find more of Aster over at @hartinhands​!

She had a great time opening her gifts, smashing into her cake, and she honestly had the best time playing with all the balloons.

One successful birthday down, several more to go, but thankfully not for another year!

  Cas waking up from this morning nap, it’s amazing how much you’ve grown little guy! You look so much like your Daddy already it’s unreal. He would have been so excited to watch you grow, but unfortunately life had other plans for Daddy. You’re such a soother boy, take it and you cry bloody murder. I’m going to have fun getting it away from you when you’re older; we shall cross that bridge as it comes. 

  I can’t get over how different you are from Elli when she was a baby. I couldn’t get her to gain weight. You on the other hand are such a chunky little man! You’ve got rolls for days! We’re going to blame Daddy on this one, he was a chunky kid. You’re already in 3-6 month clothes. It’s hard to believe newborn ever fit you; correction I think newborn fit for a day.

We took Maddie trick-or-treating for the first time on Wednesday!  She was a little deer and had an absolute blast seeing all of the other kids around town in costumes.  She got a huge load of candy (none of which she can eat, so me, being pregnant, will gladly take on the task of eating it).

I also forgot to post a picture of our Halloween décor in our living room, so I remembered to take a picture before I took some of it down and put up the Thanksgiving decorations.  It was so cozy and nice to sit and watch scary movies while seeing the leaves fall off the trees through the windows.  Also, I can’t tell you how many times Maddie took that white pumpkin and carried it around the house saying it was her “ball”.  I’m so thankful she didn’t drop it and crack it wide open.

I hope you all had a great Halloween as well!  I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving because it’s my favorite holidays.  I just love the cooking, the family and friends, and, of course, the EATING!

Happy Halloween to you and to yours, this is probably my most favorite time of the year if I’m being serious. As you may have already figured out, our Halloween costumes were a bit all over the place and Avalon really didn’t want to be on camera, which I can understand, hence why his costume isn’t pictured. So, I was Maya this year, Thomas was obviously Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro and Andrea was hella lazy, so she was a glamorous witch. (We got a family photo after we were done trick or treating, hence why everything is illuminated.)

We got a lot of compliments from the neighbors (Especially for Thomas! So much candyyyyy) so there was that, and if we ran into a few homophobes, let’s just say that Avalon showed just how scary he could be. Until next time!

Back again with some spam 

Today was a nice warm day so me & the little 1s to a walk to checked out this new cafe near our house, they have the best donuts I have ever tasted  . After we chilled at the park for for a little while and I was able to snap a few good pictures of them. I can’t wait for the twins to be officially out of school and for Malik to go on vacation  so we can  start enjoying summer together.

Anyway I know I’ve been slacking on this blog but I promise to pick it back up this summer, we have a lot of trips , and parties planned & I can’t wait to share all of it with you guys .

I’ll be back soon with a real update on all of us .

Salem is nearly 4 months! She can roll over, loves to giggle, and can officially find my nipple all by herself! She’s 16 lbs 9 oz, and 23 inches long.  She loves her cousin Jenson, and cuddling with all her mommy’s friends.

After a long and tiring day, the boys have finally crashed out. Sugar rush I think caused it. 

I cannot believe that my youngest baby is now one year old. He’s grown so fast, in the blink of an eye. You’re so precious and we love you so very much! Hope that you’ve enjoyed your day, even though you’re young so you probably won’t remember it that well, as well as your presents. Nanna and Grandad are coming over during the week with your gifts so I’m sure I’ll document that on here too!
