These fantastic felines found their way to the shelter separately, and made fast friends once they were settled! 

Simnia was surrender to us shortly after her owner originally adopted her because a family member who was severely allergic was moving in. Simnia (pronounced how it looks) is a type of sea snail, and is the name her original owner gave her. 

Patch’s story is a little bit lengthier and will be covered more in future posts, so make sure you follow for updates! He was surrender to the shelter with his siblings and mother when their owners were unable to adopt them out themselves after the mother surprisingly gave birth one day!
