INDIRA VARMA as Lady Macbeth Macbeth (2023-2024)
Lawrence and Adam: SAW (2004) dir. James Wan Hamlet and Laertes: HAMLET (2016) dir. Simon Godwin
Plus: The film Disney *almost* made instead of "10 Things..."
A month of Shakespeare News! 2/4:
When forgery makes you literally pull out your own hair, something has gone terribly wrong. Plus David Tennant thinks that he is “a very obvious Andrew Aguecheek," Sherlockians get pedantic about "Twelfth Night," and a neck implant that shocks you if you quote "Hamlet" too much (fictional).
Romeo & Juliet (Simon Godwin, 2021)
Has anyone got a link to the 2024 play of Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma in Macbeth?
I'd love to watch it.
ROMEO & JULIET (2021)
dir. Simon Godwin
Escape to the Italian Riviera for Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy of new beginnings. Much Ado About Nothing plays at the National Theatre 7 July - 10 Sep 202...
Wake up babes, new MAAN just dropped!
Escape to the Italian Riviera with a cast including Katherine Parkinson (Home, I'm Darling, The IT Crowd) and John Heffernan (Dracula, She Stoops to Conquer).
Since 1931, the legendary family-run Hotel Messina has been visited by artists, celebrities and royalty.
When the current owner’s daughter falls for a dashing young soldier, the hallways are ringing with the sound of wedding bells.
However, not all the guests are in the mood for love, and a string of deceptions soon surround not only the young couple, but also the steadfastly single Beatrice and Benedick.
Director Simon Godwin (Twelfth Night, Antony and Cleopatra) returns following the award-winning success of his Romeo & Juliet film.
