I know I’ve said this before on my old blog, but I was reminded of it again today through one of my threads and wanted to put it here as well. I headcanon that Simon (at least my Simon) has a higher baseline for his stress levels than what is considered normal for most androids. Instead of his stress levels being between 0% and 25%, Simon’s stress levels usually rest around 50%. Basically this means he has android anxiety. However, even though his stress levels are usually higher, he’s also developed a tolerance for it. When his stress levels climb into red digits where it becomes dangerous for him, Simon has more self control and can fight the urge to self destruct better than most androids. So it’s both a blessing and a curse, making his daily life a little harder, but keeping him from danger when things get seriously bad.

Simon is a huge romantic. Even though he hasn’t been in many relationships, or isn’t extremely social. He’s still very loving and thoughtful. With me he’s constantly showing affection in any way he can, showing up after class with a bouquet of flower when he knows I had a bad day. Or bringing me lunch with cute little notes while he’s blushing really red knowing I’m going to read them.
