Simon my beloved
Poor Simon 😟🎭😞💔
So uh science states uhhh
Science, yeah
animation thing I made last year
My “unwoke” opinion is that by today’s standards Simon and Betty’s relationship (pre curse era ofc) was relatively healthy
Disclaimer my grammar is sht rn bc I am very tired lmao
I mean, I understand that they both definitely had their faults, Simon being a bit oblivious, and Betty being a bit obsessive (both being in increments and not over the top tho, but was amplified in their descent into madness ), but thats what made it realistic I think for the most part. All relationships need work no matter how “healthy” they really are. Personally, what I believe defines a relationship as that is the willingness to work it out once it’s pointed out to progress. (I had more reasons but I’m literally lowk falling asleep as I write this so I might make a pt 2)
if I’m being honest I really hate it when a person or relationship is given realistic normal flaws, and the fandom misinterprets it as either “narcissistic”, “toxic”, and/or “abusive.” It’s extremely frustrating considering the fact that the overuse of words and topics like that can really dilute the meaning of the word and make ACTUAL things and relationships concerning it be overlooked and misinterpreted.
Thank you for listening to my Ted talk
Fox petrigroff au perhaps????
