Can we talk about Rise?
Especially about Micheal? As a trans theatre nerd this means so much to me. The conversation he had with the teacher, the look on his face in the boys dressing room for the first time, that all happened to me. And then I saw it happen to him and it was magical. Everything about how they’re writing this character is beautiful and I love it. Also this isn’t even mentioning Simon, and his parents. Like holy shit this show is going to save lives.
