Astonishing Tales #26 (Buckler & Moench, Oct 1974). The disjointed narrative and bickering narrators make this a disorienting read, but I’m on board for a new mythology being built. Deathlok’s future is beset by cannibals, cyborgs, and killer mercenaries. Even his best friend is converted.
But it turned out that Namor was not actually dead.
