You know what was the first thing that I loved about Young Royals?

In the start, you'd think that Wilhelm is gonna be this party craze bad boy, who's broody and mysterious. But he wasn't, he turned out to be huge dork and I absolutely loved it. I was so tired of the tsundere character being brought out by the love interest.

And Wilhelm is kind to everybody. English shows constantly show characters who are rude and assholes to everyone, including their elder and teachers. But, it wasn't like that in YR. He doesn't have an air of arrogance because he was the prince, and nor did Eric. And I loved the fact that Simon wasn't that intimidated or impressed by Wilhelm. To him, he's just a normal boy, who looks at you like he wan gobble you up.

I'd like everyone to remember and realise that Young Royals (especially Wilhelm and Simon) are only 16-17 year olds! Imagine a sex video of you comes out and you are the fucking prince and every body in your fucking family says you gotta deny it but that would mean you can't talk about the boy you like, and there's so much pressure on you. And he took a decision, I get Simon blaming Wilhelm but not all of you blaming him too!

What would you have done then? Give up your whole reputation for a boy you met months ago? And when you were just 16! I remember watching the first season and thinking that it was obvious Wille would deny it.

Look at this way, a sex video of an actual royal came out... regardless of them being with the same sex or opposite sex, the Royal court would deny it and cover it up even then!! Because that video is tarnishing the Royal reputation. What Wille did was what happens in the real world.

Yes, Simon has every right to hate Wilhelm but I completely understand why he did what he did. Sixteen year olds need guidance and parental support all the time and Wille just followed the guidance he got (regardless of whether it was right or wrong)

I will continue my rant about how people forget they are just kids.

I see some of you hating on Simon and Wilhelm even for the littlest thing they do!

1. I saw post where one of you said you couldn't believe Simon dated Marcus right away. TF you want him to do? He waited all of winter break thinking about the prince of Sweden and the love of his life who he could never be with. Simon realised he had to move on, or it would hurt him more and more. And he wasn't even looking for anything serious. He just wanted someone to replace Wilhelm and his touch and him smell. He is 16 years old for god's sake! How long do you lot want him to wait.

2. Oh and the fact that Simon was trying to make Wille jealous? Completely normal. I would do that and I'm frickin 20. You know what, even 40 years would do it. It might be just for a proof that the other person loves you. Sometimes....its what you need!

3. Wille being petty....after Simon says he needs space. That was the scene I related to most in the series because teenagers are exactly like that. Petty and tryna get back at the other person regardless of whether we like them or not. I found the scene so cute....it was so childish on Wille's part (adorable) And Simon's response? Pure bliss. *cat fight*

Remember they are just 16💓

Why is nobody talking about the look Wille gave August after he sees Ayub's story of Simon and Marcus?? That look was everything for me. August was so confused like "wtf did I do now!?"

It was August's fault and he couldn't wait to bring that boy down, but August was still there laughing with his friends and Wille felt all alone in the world without Simon.
