I think Simon would like The Cure. Come on, it’s totally his vibe, especially the more gothic albums.

Would he admit it? God, no. It's his secret shame.

He’s openly a Smiths fan, so being young in toxic The Smiths fan forums made him ashamed for liking The Cure.

Whenever he’s in public, and one of their songs comes up on his iPod, he always turns the volume down cause he doesn’t want anyone to catch him. Or when he bought the physical CDs at a store, he’d act as if it was for anyone else. Then, whenever someone came into his room and spotted one of the albums, he’d state it was his sister’s, not his, and she must have put it in his room.

If anyone asked him if he liked The Cure to his face, he’d quickly say no in a quiet panic.

Come on. You’re telling me in year seven that Simon didn’t sob while singing to Boy’s Don’t Cry?

In all fairness, I only have this headcanon cause I think it’s funny. Simon who’s a known creep, and his biggest secret shame is that he likes The Cure and not any other perverted thing he’s done before.

Come on. It’s hilarious to think that.
