Day 7 - TALLY DAY!!

It’s that time of the week where we find out how our guests did. Here are the current points:

Our two lowest guests are... Bella Goth and Simon Scott! That means they will be going home this week. Here are their reviews of the New Penelope Hotel. 

Bella Goth - 1 out of 5 stars

“The hotel smelled, the toilet was always broken, and the owner had no class. He took us to a bar for our day out but then didn’t even pay for our drinks. The only reason I gave this place one star at all is because another guest has good taste in nightgowns.”

Simon Scott - 4 out of 5 stars

“I can’t wait to tell my friends about this hotel. The wallpaper itself is the whole reason I enjoyed it. And once you get past the idea that you could be eating fruit salad the rest of your life, it’s not half bad!”

At the end of every tally day, we will be adding a layer of difficulty to the challenge. Our first full week went by smooth, aside from some broken appliances here and there. We need to amp it up by adding our first Lot Challenge!

Anyways SimonScott under the cut for those who don't wanna read bc I totally get it

It was always a bit of Russian Roulette to see who'd wake up first. Scotty woke up early for his shift, while Simon just woke up early due to a “natural alarm clock.”

The Scotsman let out a heavy exhale as he felt his body start to awaken, limbs heavy and groggy. Laying on his right side, his free left hand came up to rub his eyes, mindlessly aware of the warmth pressed against his back, and the soft rumbling.

Shifting slightly, Scotty moved to look over his shoulder, but the arms around his waist tightened.

So he was awake.

“There he is,” The deep and thick Scottish Gaelic rolled off the man’s tongue as he reached down to grab one of the hands against his stomach. Caressing the Firth’s hand gently, the engineer felt Simon start to move around. “Mo leannan.”

The lieutenant grumbled something as he pulled his arms away, allowing his lover to roll over and face him. He remained in place, watching as Scotty did so. “Good morning.” He spoke quietly, quickly scooting to close the distance between their bodies.

“Morning.”

The chief wasn't the slightest bit surprised when he felt a pair of hands against his hairy chest, felt the soft human skin against his own. Like a routine, he predicted the way the biologist would lean in, and he met him halfway.

A soft press of lips- something so simple and sweet, but it was enough to make the rest of the dominoes fall. The blankets shuffled as a large tail started to wag against the mattress, producing a repeating sound.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

“Someone's happy, huh?” Ducking his head down, Scotty stole a kiss, pressing his lips against Simon’s cheek. That got a happy sigh that then faded into a deep purr as the Scotsman kept kissing the man’s face.

When Scotty was done with his kissing, Simon returned the favor by giving the chief engineer a little peck on the nose, making him hum. “I love you so much.” It was whispered, voices still a bit sleepy.

“I love ye too.”

Kisses on cheeks and noses weren't enough, and they could both see it in one another’s eyes. Simon cupped Scotty’s face with both hands, and the Scotsman’s right hand found its way to the lieutenant’s hip.

The biologist remembered the first time Scotty tried to initiate a real good morning kiss. Morning breath, that's what he blamed his distaste on.

To hell with that. He thought now when their lips met again, heads tilted ever so slightly to the side for a better angle.

The kiss deepened- slow and unhurried. Scotty had woken up before his alarm, after all. There wasn't the pressing issue of duty. Yet. Scotty let his eyes close, turning off one of his senses to let the others take the reins.

The feel of smooth scales underneath his rough palm, the feel of lips against his, the sound of Simon’s tail still wagging, albeit faster now.

Thump thump thump.

The sound was cute, and admittedly pretty funny. The Scotsman couldn't help how he let out an amused huff. Simon heard this, and pulled away with a slight frown.

“Really? Are you laughing at me now?” It was painfully obvious he was being sarcastic, which just made Scotty smile more.

“Sorry, sorry… Let me make up for it.”

The lieutenant didn't need much more convincing. Their lips met again, picking up where they left off. Scotty could feel Simon smiling into the kiss, which only made his heart swell more with affection.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The alarm went off, unpleasant and definitely unwanted. The two parted, an unhappy groan leaving Simon as he flopped over onto his back, letting go of Scotty so he could reach over to his nightstand and whack the alarm, silencing it.

“I hate that damn thing.” The Firth complained aloud. He got a “mhm” in agreement from the engineer.

“Aye, me too.” He reached back over to Simon, placing a hand on the lieutenant’s smooth chest, patting it in an attempt to sooth him. “But lucky ye, Dr. McCoy said yer still on medical leave. So, ye get the day off. Fun stuff.”

Simon frowned more. “No, not fun. Boring as hell.” Still, he laid still and allowed the touch he was receiving. “What's fun about laying around all day and doing nothing? I'm not broken. My wrist is better now.”

“Mmm,” A soft hum. “The doc ain't too convinced, so it's best ye just listen and stay off his bad side.”

The biologist glared at his boyfriend. He was pissy Scotty was right, and even more upset when he started to get out of bed.

“Do you have to go?”

“Nae, not yet. I still have to shower, ye numpty.” He turned to look at the Firth still laying in bed, pouting. “Ye could join me, but… Ye might be too broken to get out of bed.”

Within a second Simon was sitting up and bolting out of bed, which in turn made Scotty squawk out a hearty laugh upon seeing the lieutenant barreling towards him, ushering them both into the bathroom.
