Simonside Hills
Lovely walk near Rothbury.
After the main walk we had a look at the cup and ring markings a short distance from where we’d parked.
Then it was off to meet A&M at Cragside.

Simonside, Northumberland
Raw wind, piercing, icy snow hail. Far reaching views, sky larks overhead. Big abstract blocks of conifer plantations, heather moorland, Tony Cragg-esque rock formations, whirring grouse.
