Remus has a collection of oversized, chunky knit sweaters. He rarely gets to wear them because Sirius steals them the second they come out of the laundry. Sirius claims they smell like Remus and comfort and Remus pretends to be annoyed, but secretly he just buys them a size too big on purpose.
Enough of 'Sirius broke out bc he missed Remus so unfathomably more than literally anyone else and he felt more guilty of leaving him alone (?) for a while then about unknowingly leading James and lily into their deaths'
And more of: Remus saw that sirius broke out of azkaban, made the snap decision that the greatest chance to meet him would be where harry is, and then spends an entire book orchestrating moments in which he could possibly stumble into him to get the heartfelt reunion of his dreams
Sirius sat on the couch next to Remus giggling "remusss you're beautiful so beautiful" he mumbled into remus' ear as he hugged him. Remus smiled slightly "thanks darling maybe tell me when you're sober" he said running his hand through sirius' medium length hair. Sirius stiffened a bit before moving closer and whispering quietly "but.. I'm scared.. you will hate me" he trembled a bit as he said so. Remus looked down shocked "trust me, I think you're beautiful aswell don't be scared of me.." he said Sirius sniffled "I'm not scared of you I'm scared of how my mother will react if she finds out and not only that you may hate me because of it" he said as a few tears fell down his face as he sniffled.
Remus hugged Sirius tightly "I'm right here and I'd never hate you padfoot i swear it on the marauders" Remus stated seriously as Sirius trembled lightly in remus' arms, this although is not the first time he had seen Sirius cry and scared this was the first time he saw him cry because he was scared of losing him. "Just rest it'll be alright sirius" remus said as sirius mumbled out some words that remus couldn't make out due to the slurring but he assumed it was an agreement as sirius fell asleep immediately.
"I love you, sirius" remus whispered in the quiet common room as was cuddled up with sirius remus then kissed sirius' head softly then fell asleep with sirius in his arms.
