Genmaicha Tea (Simple Loose Leaf)
I think this has really been the most adventurous tea for me personally from Simple Loose Leaf. It’s made from rice, basically. It certainly tasted like I was drinking rice...maybe more like drinking rice crispies. This wasn’t my cup of tea (get it???) because I like more of the fruit flavors, but I’m glad I got to try it!! This is my last item from this box to review - tomorrow we are onto the next box!

Nothing too crazy, some solid staples tho. I dislike licorice sooo I’m not sure how that’s going to work out. dislike may be an understatement. I HATE licorice.
I’ll still try it. Everything else is probably good! I’ll probably mix the English breakfast with my chocolate tea tomorrow morning.

Simple Loose Leaf is a subscription box service where you get 4+ packages of loose leaf tea for $13 a month. They include muslin tea bags, a reuseable alternative to paper, to allow anyone new to loose leaf a way to brew their tea.
I got a very interesting selection of teas sent to me to taste and review, and I have to say I am very excited about them. This particular box came with a mix of teas: Gyokuro Green, Lapsang Souchong, Lemongrass, Mint Chamomile Rooibos, and Sheng Cha Oolong. Expect comparison reviews in the next few days as I sip my way through these flavours.
