as you didn't specify which mutuals and i have a few, i'm only gonna platonically ship you with... Armin! you're very sweet but discreet about it (you know what i mean) which would no doubt resonate with him; and thorough in the meta you post/fics you write which shows how interested and invested you are in the things you love. i think Armin would vibe with that, and he would either infodump on you or listen to you infodump on him with joy!

13. do you prefer "toxic" ships or healthy, loving ships?

i wish i could tell you healthy and loving ships, but considering most of my faves have a history of ruining each other's lives just for the hell of it, whether upon meeting each other or repeatedly along the course of their relationship.... ig toxic it is? 🤭

i got this one several times, so i'll give you one of my oldest ships overall, from a time when i didn't even know it was called shipping to want to people to smooch in your tv screen so bad you wrote scenes of it happening in your head before going to bed

7. are you selective with your ships or do you have a fleet?

i have a whole ass fleet, of course! i don't obsess over them with the same intensity, and some have left a deeper print on my heart than others, but i do love them all. to be fair it's not just ships, there's a ton of platonic relationships between characters that i chersih and love to think/write about (it all usually centers around One Blorbo, really, for whom i wish everything the universe has to offer because they are my precious child and i would die for them). but thinking about love blossoming between different characters in different situations is just so fun and entertaining to me, i can't get enough of it!

11. pick a character to ship yourself with

ooookay, let's get this right:

attack on titan: i've thought about it for ten seconds and i'm sure this is gonna come as a surprise (not), but i'm going to go with Hange, because, well. do i have to explain it?? my love language is aggressive care, so i'm sure that would work wonderfully to get them out of their work and get some food and rest into that body of theirs. i'm just afraid of what would happen if we shared an interest for something, because if i'm diving in, then i'm lost to the world just like they are x)

yuri on ice: no brainer since this has been on my mind for a while, actually, so i'm going with Yuuri and Victor!! i love them both very much and could actually see myself in a very happy poly relationship with the two of them 👉👈

bungou stray dogs: hmmmm... this one was a little bit harder to figure out. Odasaku would have been my first choice because 1) he is hot as fuck 2) he's got this quiet, safe energy to him that perfectly clashes with my insanity, and most importantly 3) he and i would kidnap teen chuuya and dazai from the mafia to give them a quieter, happier life away from all this mess. the thing is, i recently took a silly little "which bsd character are you?" quizz and got him (how??), so i feel weird about this now lmao!! if i had to think of another, then my closest fit would probably be Yosano. we share a passion for blood and injuries and the like, and her backstory makes me feral with the need to help her heal from her own traumas since she's always so busy handling others'. (also she can be terrifying and i am ngl im... Into That)

14: slow burn or instant chemistry ooohh. i love both. unresolved tension slow burn is peak. but i think if i have to choose, slow burn. i love friends to lovers. i love drawn out not actually unrequited but they're both being idiots about it. i love the trying to ignore your feelings and be normal in any given situation when they're in a 20 mile radius. its all so great. thx for the ask!!

well, i'm obviously gonna break that rule x) more colors make for a brighter rainbow and all, so let's celebrate multiplicity instead! let me add to that first question's answers all (well nearly all, bc i must be forgetting some still) of my loves in no particular order: victuuri, msr, soukoku, levihan, berena, hannibal x bedelia, shoot, eruhan, jisbon, swan queen, braime, kazurei, benslie, legolas x thorin, erurihan, reese x finch, 13 x cuddy, vanity, erumike, fleabag x belinda, aziraley, house x cuddy x wilson, vi x kaitlyn..

there's no superlative to be used here imo, each of them brought into my life whatever i needed in the moment i fell for them and offered me an opportunity to learn (and write progressively less shitty fics!!). shipping isn't just wanting two (or more) fictional ppl to get their freak on, it's about found family and making connections and holding onto them with all your strength even when it doesn't seem like the most rational choice, the whole notion that being human comes with love in all its forms, including romantic (and it happens to be the form that intrigues me, and i think a lot of folks, the most).

okay, maybe it's not that deep. maybe we're all just pervs who want to write/read a whole lot of different types of porn.
