if you, like me, struggle with eating veggies because they taste too green, or if you, like me, struggle with cooking anything more impressive than a microwave meal, i have a recipe for you. its the easiest fucking recipe in the world AND its vegan and. whatever else dietary restrictions can be met when you're eating a single ingredient. but I need you to hear me out here. you're going to think i have no idea what im talking about. you're going to think "there's no fucking way that I could eat that". you might even think i am intentionally trying to trick you and harm you. i am not. this is real. its good. please trust me.
here's the recipe:
wrap washed asparagus in a damp paper towel and microwave the bundle for 4 minutes. remove it from the microwave, put it in a bowl, and add salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice; mix enough to coat all the asparagus. E a t.
thats it. thats the whole thing. you can use this recipe anywhere you can find a microwave.
IF YOU SO PLEASE, you may also dip your asparagus in whatever [high fat content] dip of your choosing. I highly recommend hollandaise, but plain mayo will do you just fine. if its high in fat, it will smother the flavor of the asparagus to the point you are eating cruchy sticks of dipping sauce.
