Hi! I was looking through the DCP tag and saw your post about messaging you if anyone that was going/interested in going had questions. I'm definitely planning on applying either this coming school year or the next. One major question I have is this: when a person is doing DCP, are they also taking full-time online classes through their university while there? My old advisor told me you did, but she had a lot of wrong information about my school in general and confused me every time we talked.

Hi!! I’m so happy to see that someone actually came to me seeking answers :) As far as classes go, everyone is a bit different. Disney doesn’t require you to take any classes. My school doesn’t give credit for this internship, so I’m not taking any classes. However, I have friends here who are taking one or two online classes, I have friends who are taking collegiate classes through Disney, and I know one or two people who are actually taking full time classes.

Personally, I’m so happy that I’m not taking classes. That way when I’m not working, I can enjoy the parks and all the perks of being a Cast Member and living alongside some of the best friends you will ever make. It really all depends on your situation!

Don't worry about it. If you love something, you'll excel in it. I took second year courses in my first year and this year I'm taking a few advanced 3rd year courses. Just need the passion!! You'll do just fine! Haha, it's bad ass. :P

I'm excited for you, you're going to have so much fun! It's such a learning curve the first semester but don't worry. My double major is Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology. :)
