Thank you, sweet little vegan café, for being surprisingly hidden in Chinatown and being everything we were looking for. You made me appear a tad more hip than I really am, as we found the perfect seat for the perfect vegan brunch, in a tiny café in the middle of a very big city.

Thank you, Detroit airport, for making me sit still - with no escape and nothing to do for over four hours. First I fought it, but then I found the beauty in taking a nap, reading a magazine, and listening to the songs on my Ipad that I'd forgotten about.
