the greatest way to remember new words
As I said before, I’m studying English. Actually, I’ve been doing it since approximately 8th grade. Yeah, it seems a little strangely (because I started studying it in the first grade), but it was like that. I mean, I started studying the language consciously in the 8th grade. Anyway, it ought to be remarked that my progress is rising too slowly. I spend several hours per day with English, but as a result have too little practise in speaking and learning new words. So, I’m going to change the study system.
And the first thing I want to change - how I learn new words. I use one app for this purpose - Quizlet. It’s available for everyone to download this. There you can set up your own list of words you want to remember and practise them in different ways, using game method or cards and so on, and so forth.
In addition, I wanna trying writing a text, using these words. It may not have a plot. It can be just a set of sentenses, which aren’t connected with each others. The primary goal of doing this - use new words as much times as you can. This method has some advantages. Firstly, you can see, how the word works, see it’s using in the context. Secondly, you get used to write the word and to tie it with others parts in the sentense. It becomes a really useful skill, you know.
It was my mistake, which I’ve done by this time. I made a list, looked through it a couple of times (repeat them from time to time), and then most of them forgot. Because I learnt it just like a word, not as a set of building a speech.
And the last thing, that I need to make these words as mandatory part of my routine (dat-to-day) speech. I’m trying to use the word in my daily life, every time I talk to someone.
