Not that I'd ever want to change the current backstory, since I love the idea of Xejoo trying to hide Hansol like kids hiding a kitten from their parents, but I thought of an alternative to how Hansol met the wolfpack. Imagine he's lost in the woods at night, and it's raining, and he's ice-cold and ready to give up, and right before he passes out, he feels something warm and furry, like a dog. When he wakes up, he's in a smokey cave, and at the centre of a cuddle-pile if wolves keeping him warm.

Awwwwwww, this is adorable too! It’s like Little Red Riding Hansol but the wolves want to cuddle him instead of eat him!

Also, Hwasa's crew are all people she's rescued from poverty and/or shitty situations. She's got a bit of a reputation among the nobels; they're pretty scared of her, which makes the royal military (maybe Moonbyul's unit specifically?) even more determined to find her. Solar would have heard about her from her parent's friends. Wheein's shop would have to be hidden to avoid attention, maybe on a island? Anyways, she's really friendly and she's always happiest when she's working with machinery.

Wheein runs a repair shop. It's not upscale enough for the airships of nobles, so she makes her money by repairing the ships of outlaws, which is how she knows Hwasa. Solar is the daughter of an upperclass couple who're very superstitious about air travel, but all she wants to do is fly. Moonbyul is a member of the crew of a royal military ship dedicated to hunting down unlicensed airships, but she's slowly starting to question why air travel is restricted to nobles in the first place.

Have you seen Mamamoo's Immortal Song performances? There was the one where they were wearing the suits, and for some reason, Hwasa's necklaces reminded me of how people used to keep things like pocket-watches and compasses on gold chains, and then I thought of steampunk pirate Hwasa who's the captain of her own floating ship (the ponytail she had fitted the image too). It was a weird train of thought, but a fun idea.

Imagine Jenissi learning about herbs from Jiwon, and deciding to make an herb garden of his own to pass the time. It'll give him a new hobby, plus he can give the herbs to his more... fragile friends in the woods for cooking and healing and protection, and maybe improve pack-clan relations. Also imagine B-Joo and A-Tom getting in a fight that ends with them chasing each other all around the forest and straight through the herb garden, leaving Jenissi shaking his tiny grandpa fists in their wake.

Omg ok, I honestly love the mental image of Jenissi being the most powerful vamp in their coven but he’s also tiny and the most surefire way to invoke his ancient wrath is to fuck with his magical herb garden

I think the werewolves would probably be a lot more tactile than the vampires, and and kind of emotional affection would probably manifest physically, with lots of tackling and cuddling and wolf kisses, like, whenever one member of the pack is upset, they'd probably get dragged to the centre for a giant cuddling session. The affection would be one of the reason's Hansol's drawn to the pack, but I can defiantly see Bjoo having to work out dome boundaries with his packmates.

I mean, it would make total sense though-wolves in nature communicate a lot through like, smell and touch, right? So I think that would manifest in werewolves being a little more physical with each other even when they’re not shifted, which Hansol would absolutely live for, but would kinda make Bjoo the odd wolf out bc he’s not as into dogpiles. (But since he’s with the alpha, Pgoon could help him negotiate and enforce his boundaries, even with the more...exuberant of the wolves)
