so to prevent your skin from getting leather-y you put lotion on it? would that also include your face? and would it be effective with any lotion? - 🗿
Sort of, The lotion to moisturize your face should say they are suitable for use on the face because the skin on your face is more delicate. This is the moisturizer I use, I am sure there are better ones but I am cheap and it works. Also make sure to put lotion on the rest of your body because your skin is an organ and needs to be cared for, most any body lotion will do for your body.
But even more important than moisturizing every night is wearing sunscreen! Please for the love of god wear sunscreen daily, even in winter, it will prevent your skin from taking in sun damage and keep you looking young (and prevent cancer)
