A Theory on What Happened to Bella Goth...

While replaying Strangerville I realized something...

It is pretty clear that aliens are in some way involved in the Strangerville incident; if not for the "explosion that caused the crater", or all the curio-merch referencing ufo-s, or even the following table lamp from the High School Years EP referencing the Strangerville (now retired) Pilot George Cahill having designed said lamp with an "unclear source of inspiration" when the lamp is shaped like- and named after a saucer;

;it made me wonder how exactly they could have been involved, and that's when I discovered this sentence uttered as a response when you try to speak with infected sims in Strangerville:

"Our Mother" obviously refers to the Mother Plant, but while beauty is subjective, she doesn't wear a red dress... but maybe at some point she did...

This begs the question: who in the sims-universe do we know of who is famously dressed in red, and who isn't just beautiful, but her name literally means the word "beauty"? That's right: Bella Goth!!! Now, bear with me here; In The Sims 3 there is a Dance Sphere which (with upgrading) has an option for sims to "enter dimensional gate" If one does this, there is a chance that the following chance cards show up:

So, with this information; knowing that the aliens praised Bella the same way that infected sims in Strangerville praise The Mother, could it be that perhaps the Mother is actually Bella Goth?

Dying on the hill (tiny anthill, I don't know how many people care lol) of morally grey Mortimer but he loves his wife!

Like is he into shady shit? Yes

Do I maybe dabble with the headcanon that he abused (like not ultra abused but like, whether or not Alexander would be taken away depends on how competent the CPS workers are???) Alexander after Bella got abducted? Yes

Vera Vex! So according to an interview surrounding The Sims Bustin' Out (GBA), as well as Vera's sims wiki page, Vera is related to Bella Goth!

Vera's sims wiki page tells us she is Bella's second cousin in-law, whereas the interview states that she actually is Bella's step second cousin

now, my brain fully shuts off trying to understand how family trees work, but if you have a clue where Vera could be placed in the Goth-Bachelor family tree, I'd love it if you shared that with me!!!! *O*

The greatest mystery of all of Sims!

I have seen so many theories of what happened to her and it’s honestly kind of hard to know what to believe anymore

Nonetheless, I agree with the theory of her being abducted.

What if Alexander Goth, really had no idea of Bellas disappearance when he was a child in The Sims 2 and that is why the book he wrote is called “Murder in Pleasantview” as in, he grew up thinking she got murdered.

Also the reason Bella exists in Strangetown in The Sims 2, maybe that is a fake Bella, created by the aliens and the real Bella ended up in the aliens’ home-planet, which is why she died of old age in outer space in The Sims 3 Lunar Lakes...
