SimArchitecture & SimInterior Contest

You are mistaken if you thought that I forgot about this competition. So let me introduce you:

SimArchitecture & SimInterior Contest is an international (I hope!) competition for that who want to try themself in SimArchitecture & SimInterior Design as SimDesigner and compete for first place and major prize. Each participant is a member of the Sims Community who uses the game for building and interior design.

Info & Rules:

- Everyone can participate. Any game are allowed: Sims 2\3\4

- You can sign up for contest until 20th of june here in the comments. You need to write your nickname, game version and will you use a custom content or not. For example: Hyde \ Sims 2 \ Custom Content.

- Competition will start from 1st of july, and will last about two months: July, August and most likely part of September.

- Contest is multistage. You have a week for each stage.

- There will be eliminations in the middle of the competition and before the final round. Like Eurovision with first semi-final, second semi-final and the final. But, it can be changed depend from number of participants.

- If you fail to send your entry in a week, and there's still a week (or two\etc) before elimination, you can post your entry later, but it will result in minusing points from your score. Please, bear this in mind as well as the fact that if you do it regularly, you are likely to be eliminated. Let's respect each other's time and effort.

- ReShade and Photoshop are allowed, but you need also post a link to non-edited screenshots.

- A side blog-community-page will also created here on the tumblr to collect all the participants' work in one place after June 20. Also there will be all information about competition.

- The Finalists from 3 to 1 place will receive prizes. Prizes will be announce later.

- JFF entry also allowed for those, who can't participate for whatever reason and for those, who will be eliminate.

SimPearls - Designer Of The Year

Message from SimPearls:

“It's the DOTY contest time again. That's “Designer of the Year” for those who don't already know. Last year we had so much fun with our "Movie" theme. We think you'll really enjoy this year's theme! 

The contest consists of 8 rounds plus the final.

Each round will begin on Tuesday @12 am est. & end 5 days later on Saturday 11:59 PM est.

We will be unable to extend any round, you must make sure to post your entry by the given deadline. Anyone who misses a round will, unfortunately, be eliminated.

Each round, except round one, will have member eliminations.

Each entry will be judged by our staff judges on 5 separate categories. All scores will be kept private.

Round 1 will begin on Tuesday April 10th @ 12:00am.

Contest includes Sims 2, 3, and 4 games. 

Staff and last year’s winner, Minena, can only enter JFF (just for fun) entries.

No matter what your experience with sims, you are encouraged to sign up. Even those who are fairly new should join even if it's just for fun. You will gain so much experience. 

If you think that you can commit to 2 months of creative challenging fun, please leave your name in this thread & I will add you to the list.”
