have a bright psd made for colorful gameplay! there’s also a brightness layer you’re free to mess around w, but this psd works best with bright daytime shots and outdoors, imo!
feel free to tag me if you use it! please credit me n don’t claim it as your own. do not put this behind any kind of paywall / ad.fly / etc.

Re edit of an oldie from 2013, here is the original one: here
He was supposed to be a 2p!Germany back then, but he diverged so much it’s not really recognizable anymore..? I saw the picture in my folder and thought it would be fun to edit it again, just to see the progress.
Anyway, check below the cut to see the before edit (or at least, the closest picture I still have to the unedited one):
This is not a photoshop or gimp tutorial, it’s actually something new I just discovered the other day and it’s free! You can download TOPAZ STUDIO for free and then play around with the presets and features. You will need it for this quick tutorial. Keep reading for more.
Step 1. Open your image with topaz studio. Then choose “soft” from the options on the left.
Step 2. Choose the option “SO SOFT” from the left, I favorited it so I can find it later. Now on the right change the Vignette to 0.00 and I changed the Effect Opacity to 0.75, but you can play with that based on how smooth you want the sim.
Then click the blue ADJUSTMENTS button and choose “Sharpen”.
Step 3. Under the Preset Drop Down choose “Sharpen”.
Step 4. Set the opacity to 0.35 or whatever looks best with your image. If you want to apply the effects to add even more effects, click “apply” right under the image.
Now save and you are done! You can open it with photoshop or gimp :)
quick lil edit of a sim by @cat-bleps from this post! i don’t have my computer with me and i forgot to take screenshots ahead of time, so i have nothing to edit/post, which is why i’m using screenshots from a nine month old post.
