Misc. PSD Templates Pack!

Sorry for the long wait on these - I've been super busy recently, but they've been sitting in my WIP folder for months and it's time to release them from their purgatory (thank you anon for asking about these - it gave me a reminder to get them finished) :P

All templates come in light mode & dark mode variations - credit to JustMiha’s Clean UI, CowplantCartel's Cloud UIs & SimState’s Blackout UI as these psds are designed to fit in with their styles

What’s In The Folder:

💼 Opportunity Template: → Choice between TS3 icons or TS4 icons included → Non-transparent variation included for darkmode

🌟 Celebrity Status Template: → All celebrity star status descriptions are included, you can hide / unhide them and edit to include your sim's name as needed → Hide / unhide the stars to change the celebrity level → Non-transparent variation included for darkmode

🏆 Skill Achievement Template: → Option to hide the 'reward objects' box if you want → Choice between TS3 icons or TS4 icons included → Non-transparent variation included for darkmode

🏷️ Object Template: → You'll need to place your own object PNG over the icon box → Option to either use the regular object description, or a variation that includes quality level, fertilizer strength etc. that's meant to be used for plants, produce, food, drinks etc. → Non-transparent variation included for darkmode

No instructions layer this time, because if you've used my other psds the instructions will be exactly the same!

Terms of Use: Please don’t claim as your own or reupload without my permission, I’d love to see you use them in your game if you do choose to tag me - but that’s totally optional I’m just nosey :P Feel free to alter and customize the templates literally however you want, but pls link back to my blog / tag me if you’re gonna reupload a downloadable variation (such as in a different UI colour) :)

The font used in all templates is DM Sans, it can be found in all variations here - I only used ‘bold’ & ‘bold italic’

File Instructions:

This is a .PSD file, intended to be opened in a photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop, I personally recommend Photopea / Gimp as free alternatives - you can probs use any other editing software as long as it can handle .psd files - lmk if you have any problems in other programs, I have only tested these in Photopea!

Editing tips! (+ some very cool psd’s 😎)

Before we start, just a heads up that i use reshade which does let me adjust colours, shadows, saturation etc. in-game. (but you can totally use these tips with/without reshade because i still do these things when i forget to turn reshade on lol) also i use photoshop to edit my screenshots! there are a lot of ways to.. ahum *pirate* photoshop so i would def recommend getting it if your really getting serious about editing!

also i dont really keep up with simstagram so im not to sure if editing styles are different on there - but yeah these are a few things i recommend when it comes to editing!!

One thing i cant recommend enough is topaz clean! its so amazing at cleaning up lines and smoothing things out!!! as you can see the photo looks 10x better! and overall less blurry lol.

after adjusting topaz clean how i like, i usually use a bunch of psd’s because im very lazy

here’s a few examples of the ones i use most:

(also sorry about the blurriness still trying to figure out how to stop tumblr turning the quality to 💩)

1. PXLBOX POP! (great for gameplay as well)

2. HAPPY PILLS (has some fun addons + great for people just starting with psd’s)

3. Clover (simple + great for gameplay as well)

4. La Vie En Rose (pretty simple but also stylised)

5. Muddy Boots (good for combining with other psd’s)

6. Retro pepsi (originally meant for scenery but can add some interesting hues to other pics)

7. Rosebud (has a lot of fun addons! is a bit confusing though)

8. just thought i would give an example of how i combine psd’s - this helps me make a really nicely edited photo! i do end up playing around with the psd’d for around 40 mins until i am happy with it.

also just a heads up - dont expect every psd to work for every screenshot, its changes each time you use it so make sure to adjust the psd’s if you feel like things are looking off!

One more thing i really recommend when it comes to editing, is grabbing the Keep Dark Sims Dark psd, it helps so much when it comes to keeping skin tones accurate!

have a bright psd made for colorful gameplay! there’s also a brightness layer you’re free to mess around w, but this psd works best with bright daytime shots and outdoors, imo!
