🚀 Sneak Peek: SimTracker 2.0 🚀
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on something a bit nerdy but super handy for Sims 2 fans: SimTracker 2.0. It’s a personal project I built using MS Access—so yes, it’s made by a non-developer, but it actually works surprisingly well! 😅
Here’s what I’ve got so far (these are all the screens currently available):
🖥 Welcome Screen & Main Menu – Friendly and easy to navigate.
📋 Data & Lists – Keep track of your lots, households, Sims, pets, relationships, and more.
📄 Reports & Letters – Quickly generate overviews, letters, or reports about your Sims and neighborhoods.
🌆 SimTracker 2.0 Overview – See your whole hood at a glance.
ℹ️ Info & About – Learn what’s what and get all the credits.
💬 Feedback – Share thoughts, ideas, or report any quirks.
Note: For the main features, I’ve outlined ten items per section to-do—so there’s plenty more functionality coming.
Limitations:
Since this is built in MS Access, it’s not a full-fledged app—think of it more like a detailed spreadsheet with some extra bells and whistles.
Only tracks what you input manually (no live game integration).
Some features might feel a little clunky—hey, I’m not a professional dev!
Future plans:
I’m exploring import/export possibilities to make life easier: think SimPE → Excel → Access, or even SimPE → Access directly. This could let you pull your Sims’ data straight into SimTracker instead of typing everything manually.
I’d love your thoughts:

🙋♂️ Volunteer as a tester if you want early access and don’t mind a few bugs
I’ll be sharing screenshots of every section soon, so stay tuned if you want a peek behind the curtain. This is just a hobby project, but it could make managing your Sims 2 worlds a lot more organized.
