This build was brought to you in part by the Apocalypse Dream Home event on the Sims 4 Builders Official page on FB.
I am an introvert and have no problem living alone if needed. So in the event of an apocalypse, or like our current pandemic situation, I would feel most at home in my *ahem* little cabin. I think being on my own island is a good idea, too.
I was smart and ordered solar panels before all of the factories shut down, before everyone started going crazy buying all of the things, making it impossible to get...YOU know... important other things. I should get a hero cookie for getting the solar panels, but they're all gone too.
I was concerned that the lot size was too small, but I think my build fits just right. I would have liked more space for gardening...but hey, I have a whole island! What more do I need? (🥴 toilet paper...I need toilet paper.)
I called this build the Deadgrass Cabin; it is built on the island in Brindleton Bay, is cc-free and has been play-tested (user-ID is Endmaske.) There are three cc-free paintings that I got from the gallery by #fruitloops40. I also applied some tips from Bear and Bun on Youtube for creating items that look like CC, but are not CC. Yay! New stuff that isn't new!
I went overboard with debug items, so it is VERY important to have moveobjects, showliveeditobjects, and showhiddenobjects cheats on, and cross your fingers that it all works... It might not be a big deal if it doesn't work because the dishes will probably start to rot after a day. Then your sim will yell and swear all the time about how stinky the kitchen is and hate you for the rest of your life for moving them in there...
As soon as SFS gets a boogie on it and allows for files to be uploaded, I will post a link, but for now you can get it on the gallery.
Stay happy, safe, and healthy 💕
