Starting fresh has been exactly what I needed. 🤍
I've decided to rebuild my Sims 4 save from the ground up, creating a world that feels more alive, connected, and personal for my Simself gameplay.
So far I've finished (or mostly finished):
Updated households and storylines
More realistic neighborhoods with a mix of family homes and local hangouts
New community spaces that fit the desert vibe
Reworked residential areas
Better places for Sims to socialize, date, and spend weekends
Built into a fully functioning town instead of an empty world
Parks, cafés, shops, and community venues
Plenty of future friends, rivals, and potential love interests for my Simself
The goal with this save isn't to replace every EA family or completely reinvent everything. I want it to feel like an expanded version of the original game—keeping the familiar charm while making every world feel lived in and full of stories waiting to happen.
I'm taking my time with each world, adding homes, businesses, parks, and families that fit naturally into the neighborhoods. Eventually I want every world to have its own personality and enough community lots that my Sims rarely have to travel elsewhere unless it makes sense for the story.
It's a big project, but honestly it's been one of the most enjoyable Sims projects I've started. There's something satisfying about opening the map and seeing every lot have a purpose.
Next up... onto the next world. ✨
ugh... the EA Roofs glitch is pissing me off -___-''
Anyways, I have been enjoying rebuilding these three worlds so far. Although when I look for anything on the gallery after an hour, it stops loading for me.
I have been told its a known glitch and not really anyway to fix it other then exiting the game every time....
Once i have down adding buildings and using TOOL I wll be adding townies YAAAAY!!!
