I'm still alive!!

Sorry to have disappeared for so long. It wasn't actually my intention to just dip and not post anymore. In November 2024 I started my first full time job and I've been doing additional work on the side, and for the first couple of months there was no energy for anything except sleep, food, work and daily life stuff. It took months for me to even open my game, even longer to make something for my game, and now i feel ready to share some of my creations again. I hope you like them :)

Here we have a hairstyle for elegant occasions, for example weddings or in your royal court, or for historical gameplay. I made this for my game and my mid-victorian world. But you can use this on many occasions.

I finally have a little more time to finish my 1000 followers gift! Here's a set of conversions of several beautiful hairstyles from @buzzardly28 and @simstomaggie that were super needed for my life.

I love your story, it’s so different!! I have a question though: we’ve seen his majesty promote women in his harem quite a bit, just now with Hua being promoted to a Concubine. Are other ladies bumped down when that happens, as there can only be 6 Concubines for example? Because if so, I think I have a list of suspects for who is pushing people etc. 😉

Helloooooooo Maggie!! Great question! If the limit is reached for a certain rank then no one can be promoted to said rank until there’s an opening. So the emperor might promote one of those ladies for whatever reason to make room, or they just have to wait until there’s a vacancy.

It’s relatively ‘easy’ to go up to the rank of Noble Lady, but much harder to go higher than that; the emperor has to really like you or you have to be from a noble background to reach those coveted positions. So even if a lower concubine killed off everyone higher than her, she still wouldn’t be promoted without the Emperor’s favour 🥺

the chariot: thoughts on astrology?

It’s fun to think about, but I don’t personally believe in it. Although it does shake me a little bit how much of a cookie-cutter Aries I am 💀 

the devil: do you enjoy thunderstorms?

SO MUCH. For me, thunderstorms are the perfect intersection of science and magic. I never feel more alive than when I’m listening to a thunderstorm and I think I have recorded every single one in my area for the past few years. I often listen to thunderstorms sounds to get to sleep at night. :3 (Not that I’ve been hugely successful at that lately!)
