So, an add for this game called Simure Vikings popped up, and I'm beyond disgusted. It features sexualised female characters with a caption "do you want to raise a daughter". When the character is upgraded, she says "Thank you so much, I shall repay you", the commercial ending with "Raise your dream girl on your own".

How is this legal and endorsed? How does this get past multiple people on the board? We already endure oversexualisation and degrading of every other female game character, and now they're blatantly fulfilling inc*st fantasies? I don't care if the actual game isn't about it, it's wrong (an understatement) even if it's only to draw attention, because it's a green light for the scum that's actually gonna download it looking for what's advertised. I'm used to casual to regular sexism in games, and while it's wrong, I'm not going to scream at every off thig I see, but this left me speechless and seriously bummed for a couple of hours. The add popped up while I was playing a very PG shooter game with animal characters that any child could easily be playing.

It might seem like a small thing, but let it sink in. This is what's being normalized at the moment, and that's what children of all ages can see, and the awful misogyny in other phone games ( Game of Sultans, Call me Emperor etc.) is ok and mild, sexualising your freakin' DAUGHTER is the next step. Women really can't feel safe in any role.

I've been saying "not all men" my entire life, but if it's enough men needed for this s*it to see the light of day, fuck them and their sick fantasies. Don't fucking trust them.
