I know how you feel! I want to write so, so much. I want to start my story. And I’ve been working hard on it, that’s not the thing. The thing is, that what I want to write is in the middle but first I have to start at the beginning…and Idon’twantto

Ugh, I know. That's the deal with Howling - what I really really want to write is the Sarah/Seth backstory and Sarah's bit, but I had all that Lilith stuff to get through first.

So hey, dump the Lilith stuff! Jump straight to Sarah/Seth! Maybe incorporate Lilith stuff later! Works for me! :)

Maybe you could change your plot around or figure something out? Maybe you want to write the middle because that's where the real story is, and the beginning is stuff that you don't really need?

Oh man. Haha. The chapter in which I viciously killed Jason got the most comments of any Valley chapter, and one of them was saying that the person didn't know if they'd read it anymore. Later though more people said that they were proud of me for doing it, that it took some ovaries to kill off a well-liked character.

If it's what's right for the story, it's what's right for the story. Readers will react however they want to. The ones that you should care about are the ones who get what you're doing and appreciate the story, and they'll understand and accept it.

Yay so you wouldn't be mad at me? 

And yeah, I like her a lot too, and I feel like other people don't give her enough credit or think about her enough, you know? And I've been wanting to write her bit of Howling forever, so why not just dump all the preliminary stuff and make her the star and go ahead and write her bit, and in fact write ALL the bits from her POV?

Oooh, while I was lying in bed in between my nose waking me up with its excessive sneezing and my alarm going off, I had some good ideas for the introduction to the story. Oh yes. And I may have to actually tag it nsfw. ;)

Yep! If I had room, I'd add brooding to his traits. :) Hmm, if he has a werewolf Lilith to hunt for ingredients for him, (which there's not a werewolf!Lilith in this file) maybe I could switch gatherer to brooding....

I don't know what happened. I was busy with Jason and Lilith, as they were on their first date and about to woohoo for the first time in this save, awwww. I know Sarah and Seth were sitting eating together, and then when they got up Sarah had that moodlet.

Seth was eating the brain freeze snack, and afterwards he had a moodlet of brain freeze and it said that now he knew why zombies like brains. I reckon that's it, actually, now that I think about it. Hmmm.

Isn’t it funny how writers can often incorporate imagery and metaphors into a piece without even picking up on a lot of it themselves?

Yep! :) But that's one of the things I love about writing - letting my shadow and subconscious go, and then figuring out what it was doing and what it was trying to say. :)

My boss pissed me off royally today. So I feel you on the work-related stuff. Basically I’m being taken advantage of… but I can’t say anything because I work for my dad. So yeah. I feel you. :( I hope you end up finding a job that’s better for you!
