To your anon on Pap smears: if you've had items in your vagina it's not to bad. Ask for a small speculum, if you have a choice metal is better over plastic, since it's smoother. It's kind of like getting that flu test where they swab the very back of your nose but in your cervix. Little pressure but not bad, I had some cramping afterwards but not even as bad as mensal cramps. Doctors do their best to be general, especially to 1st timers.
