"And noise is the focus for the newish Hong Kong label Re-Records. Wong Chung-Fai (Sin:Ned) and Chau Kin-Wai (KWC) run the Re enterprise, and for eight years have collaborated as No One Pulse. In Situ collects two of their live shows, from Beijing and Hong Kong. The first is a full-blooded plunge into a room full of malfunctioning electronic equipment, with a diversion into a shoot ’em up computer game. At one point we seem to be eavesdropping on a brink-of-divorce spat through a hotel wall. The Hong Kong track begins with a beautiful glowing drone, but already mice are gnawing at the cables…"
