honestly, mildly concerning to me how hostile I feel towards the aggressively handsome guy at the coffee shop

#When I say aggressively handsome I mean Langdon on The Pitt handsome #This is a different one from the other day btw #I would like to not respond like this to beautiful people but it's a long-standing issue #I thought I was better but I guess it turns out it's just that i haven't seen anyone who prompts that response #Since college #So that feels like a deeply embarrassing and juvenile prejudice to be fighting at my age #God presenting me with the opportunity to fix my heart regarding one of my great regrets from college #As in i have often regretted not being kind #there are only a couple of guys I was not kind to that I feel okay about not being kind to

my actual personality, the one i hide from people, the flawed being-- too flawed-- too boring/quirky not in a good way/sensitive/easily angered/very introverted -- is almost no one's cup of tea.

Watching The Search for Bob and it seems so lovely to have a bunch of nerdy DnD friends to gather together and play with over brunch. Playing in your pjs, eating snacks, making a story together from your own minds... I really want that someday.

#critical role #my preferred type of friend gatherings are always based on coziness and trust #and I haven’t had those kinds of friends in years #since college #those friends turned out to be not right for me in many ways #but I treasure the memories of climbing into a single college bed to watch Star Trek in our pajamas #or disney movies during conference week
